![]() He would have been slaughtered no matter who he would have chosen. It's the final week which means the favourite gets assassinated on DS. Come on, you should know that

If he'd saved Bobby it would be the same result. it wasn't necessary for him to save Janice, her save was a foregone conclusion. His choice and reason is odd which makes it seem there's more to it. |

Anyone but Janice because it was obvious she would be saved by Chlovie.

I thought his choice odd and I'm not sure I'm convinced by his 'reason's ..but..it is his choice and if it was 'tactical' so what............... he was highly unlikely to pick Jenna or Farrah. Unless he picked either of them the result would be the same so why all the upset? |

No he didn't NEED to, but he WANTED to save Janice and today's task imo was a big influence. Chloe would have automatically picked Janice but I think it would have meant more to Stevi self esteem that he could have the choice of saving Bobby.

He has used Austin and has let Austin use him...but the only one that called them both was Daniel in his exit interview, James is a self obsessed game player, that even described himself as a "good guy" on his twitter bio...LOL

Well maybe but as his own vote proved..you can't take anything for granted.

Who's upset? Not quite sure upset is the right word but I'm guessing people are questioning his decision because the've seen a side to him that they didn't realise was there.
Pass but it's still feasible he's on the level and actually likes Janice. And to be honest bar Sherrie..the options to save any of the others wasn't that appealing I wouldn't have thought. |

And because they now think to see a side they previously hadn't does that make him a 'fake' or 'shady'.

James, to me, was pretty invisible for most of CBB (bromace aside) and now he is ramping things up. He cleverly crawled under the radar and is now upping his idea of how to win. Think about it, he is being the more intelligent with Austin (whilst being understanding and yet protecting Austin from his public perception of being hammered) ... and tonight he saves Janice because the "couple"'s female side NEEDS her.
Right. James to win clearly. #asif |

Apologies, it's late and I'm tired, so I'm going to copy my post again rather than re-type ... call me lazy
![]() Personally I think he's a nice guy, mature, thoughtful, has a spine, stands up for himself and others. I think he's being himself in there. I also think that, when it comes down to wanting to win and being in a situation like they were tonight, yes he's going to vote tactically. That's not a bad thing, after all they were put in a gameshow type situation, standing at podiums and having to pick each other off. That doesn't mean he's not genuine in general, just that specifically in that situation he played the game. Had the remaining 5 housemates been different housemates, somebody else may have voted tactically - the number podium they stood on made it possible for the first 2 housemates to choose to make a more tactical vote than the second two housemates. I think that he took the easy way out, knew that somebody would vote for Bobby and Sherrie so he took the opportunity to big himself up a bit, pick somebody that he knew Chloe/Stevie would pick anyway, made himself look the good guy - which he didn't really need to do because we already knew he was a decent bloke. Had Stevie and Chloe been first then they would undoubtedly have chosen Janice, then I imagine that James would have chosen Bobby. Austin, more than likely, had he been first would have saved Jenna. Had it gone down to a Sherrie/Farrah finale with James last to pick, he'd have picked Sherrie. I think the result would have been the same either way, so James did take the opportunity to do something to sell himself but the result was more than likely the same either way. |

James hasn't given me so much as a single second of action that would make me think he is fake in any way.
Not sure what show you are watching. |

Hes sickening.
Pandering to the female and gay votes with his looks and the older vote by playing mr nice guy. FAKE FAKE FAKE And Emma said dismissively "So he's a sleaze", ignoring the rest of what she had just said she disliked James for. He is sooooo obviously the chosen one this CBB lol |

i have said this week i think ,that he is calculating everything he says
nothing seems spontaneous maybe its because his thinking is buisness orientated ? he treats speeches as if hes trying to close a deal . |

Watched it now. Saw his nomination and his reasons. They seemed perfectly fine to me.
Not sure why anyone's dragging him down; there didn't seem to be that many people there he was close to, so the Janice vote seems totally reasonable. |

So what if he is playing a game, they all are, it is a game.
He likes Janice, he said later how he had got to know her better and found her kind. Him and Janice are my top two, so I am glad they are both there. |
