How do I copy audio recordings from an iPhone to computer
Although I consider myself an Apple fan, I must say that the Apple ecosystem drives me potty at times. I was on site yesterday and made an audio recorder with the iPhone voice memo app and I wanted to give a copy to my customer. I connected the phone to my Mac and told it to selectively sync audio recordings. Because it wasn't the Mac I had previously synced with, it said "do you really want to delete all your music". Well, as it happens I'm not into music and had a grand total of one song, so no big deal. But this philosophy of all or nothing drives me nuts. It's happened before where I have wanted to copy an audio book onto my wife's phone and have been unable to do it because I wasn't willing to wipe out her music library.
Anyway, my question is what 3rd party app do people recommend for this. PS to the Android fans out there - Before you jump in - yes, it would be great if I could do it the Android way by dragging and dropping at the O/S level. In my opinion not all is good about the "Apple Way"

Can you not send the voice memo via email within the app?

iTunes has never been able to copy content FROM any iDevice! - except for Backup.
There are plenty of 3rd party programs (many free!) which can do this for PC or Mac. |

Download Syncios and you can then copy directly from your iphone using the usb cable. The voice memos (from memory ) will be in the recordings folder, if you explore the file system on said app.

I tried to get that, and although the app store search function came up with syncios as the only match, when I selected it it took me to an RSS reader called Feeddler. ??

It's not something which you download onto the phone, you download and install it onto your PC or Mac.
