"Who goes, you decide"

Another of the BB cornerstones you destroyed last night with all your nonsensical twists .

I think it still stuck to that. Historically, we the public have never got the full choice, we've always had to pick between people the house has put forward. This was just like a reverse of that. We had the decision of the four we most wanted to stay. they've done a reverse nominations in the past.

The only time I've objected is when the public weren't involved in an eviction at all. Yes BB has got better and better at manipulating the twists to lead in a particular way, by not giving us the full idea of how the eviction will go. But ultimately we still had a say in this one.

It was rather blatant that BB contrived a way to get Farrah out. The whole twist was devised for that reason.

If they had used Vote to Evict from the start they would not have had that problem.

I agree with the OP. Voters did not decide who went and they took their money anyway.
Simerlarly the voters are now paying for who is pit I to a room rather than evicted. Still if they spend their hard earned cash on this more fool them

er can i ask the OP if they saw BB3 - the very first evction that year was decided by the hms (after a publuc vote)

or perhaps BB6 when hms voted out Vanessa?

or BB7 when Ais voted out Mchael

or BB8 when the gurus voted out Gerry (i know he gave them no choice)

all well before C5 took over !

They are going to bring out a new catchphrase; 'Only some of your votes will count'.

But why would they want Farrah out? She was a great housemate, last week they wanted her in and that's why they did the secret room twist , to save her

They destroyed it during the civilian series two years in a row when they had fellow HMs directly evict people.

Exactly.

I think there are a few on here who deliberately pick a controversial unlikeable house mate to support so they can whinge about un fairness and name calling etc.

Dear me - I think it's pretty evident that obnoxious HM's rarely survive - all this fix nonsense is just an excuse to be a forum martyr.

There is no way Farrah would have went if it had been a straight eviction with the bottom f/m going. There are some on here that just join a get along gang so they can see who can aim the most bile at a certain h/m and it is pretty pathetic imo.

The crowd were baying for her blood every eviction. BB needed a big eviction after Scoop & Gail (who were well liked but didn't attract phone votes). Vote to Save tends to lead to dull evictions and eviction nights are where BB expects to add extra viewers.

The public, however, did not decide who went just who didn't go - thus the slogan is incorrect.

The person - out of all the people who were in the fray - with the lowest amount of all votes, in all probability - did not go.

Exactly, it's popular these days to blame C5 for everything, but it's been going on for many a year.

Surely, when it's Vote to Save (which I hate), it's 'who stays, you decide'?

I think the slogan has been pointless for a while. I can't be bothered getting het up over it. It's nothing new at this point.

I was thinking this the other day actually that HMs have gone in weird ways before. There's also Makosi voting out Kinga (before she was bought back) to add to the list as well.

However I think the HMs where no vote took place (Marlon, Danielle and Sam) from the last 2 years is where things go dodgy for me.

Uhh, to me, it looked like Austin decided who to save, not the voting public. And that's the problem.

Which beggars the question; why do people bother to vote if it's only some votes that count? The final decision 'who goes' by a housemate is more important than 'which half stays' by the public. It means the person with the least amount of votes (because the public couldn't be arsed to pick up the phone to save 'em) may be still be in the house.

we never decided , they always edit certain housemates possitivly to manipulate the voters to do what BB producers want

Why do people vote for twists? If they didn't the twists would stop. Then we might get a decent BB again without twists and eviction fixing.

You've come up with 4 examples in 10yrs of C4 BB. C5 have done it twice in the space of a few months. They may have done it n previous C5 series as well, but I tend to forget them pretty quickly.

The point is for C4 it was a very rare occurrence. C5 use it consistently. I wouldn't be surprised if it pops up at least once every series from now on
