This isn't me standing up for him.
He had spells when Michael LeVaiil had to have periods away from the show William Roache also had over a year out. Anne Kirkbride dying Female cast members failing pregnant every 5 minutes And to finish it off poor Simon Gregson is having to take time off |

If he was that bad and corrie was that bad why do these people contine to watch. I felt that just before steves depression storyline corrie was terrible, i was going to stop watching but stuck it out for that storyline and you know what glad I did cos Corrie is pretty good again but hardly anyone sees it because they refuse to open their minds and dare change their opinion. |

I think alot of people had it in for him before he even started the job! even when he does something well or actually deserves praise you come on here and it is full of people with their rose tinted glasses who are unable/incapable of being anything other than needlessly negative.

As I've said now six trillion times, Blackburn alone isn't responsible for Corrie. He's not the equivalent of Stalin, Castro or Kim Jong-un. He doesn't hold absolute power at Corrie. Yes he's in charge. Yes the buck stops with him but he is just one part of a massive team. Corrie is in a difficult place but Blackburn isn't the sole reason. |
