Should he not be putting his foot down and firmly telling Austin he is not interested? I find his behaviour worse. He treats Austin like a toy. He knows Austin fancies him, he knows Austin can't go there, yet he is happy to carry on with this tactile and flirty behaviour. He seems to enjoy being able to toy with his gay friend like this, and I think that's more uncomfortable to watch than Austin's misguided crush.

I just think that if Austin, James and Austin's husband are all happy with their actions then there shouldn't be a problem. It's just playful, James seems to genuinely like Austin and, as we've seen, will very quickly tell him if there's anything he doesn't like that Austin says or does. They're stuck in a house away from everyone they know. A bit of flirting and joking on both sides, if it makes them happy, isn't hurting anyone.

I think you are right though, we saw last night his argument with Austin, Austin rightly wanted some answers and questioned James over his choices and loyalty James shut him up by claiming he wanted to alone time and then inviting him into the man tub on the proviso he didn't talk to him at all about his decision and told him to wear something sexy
He's been playing on Ausins crush all series for his advantage and when he realised that Austin was getting bolshy he tried to distance himself from him, now Austin and he were saved from eviction he's probably thinking he's still on to a winner with the showmance
There is no way that James is unaware of Austins attraction for him and he is leading him on , but i have no simpathy for Austin as his husband has had to watch him lust over another bloke for weeks, I'm glad that Jenna has started to want in on the showmance now and how she jumped in between James and Austin last night was very funny
