Came across this theory in this Radio Times article and I must say it is shockingly good.. What are your thoughts?

I thought that it was a surprisingly good theoretical read, for the Radio Times at any rate. Whether there'd be any substance to it is another matter, but what a teasing photo if it is!

I've just taped and played The Doctor's Meditation backwards looking for more clues. At the point where Capaldi ostensibly does a Tommy Cooper impression with no clear words, played backwards you hear "Clara's dead, Bors. Miss her, miss her."

yep she's dead, wasn't expecting it to be this early in the season but that's that, wonder if the doctor will go without a companion for the rest of the season.

You haven't read the current DWM have you? That death will be undone next episode, as she's definitely in episode 3. We also saw Jenna on set for episode 5.

Not to mention in the trailers in a variety of different outfits and settings that imply a survival beyond this story

I think that's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read, and highly likely Moffat having a lot of fun!

Since Jenna announced she was leaving I've thought Clara would die in the end, but I'm slightly less convinced now given we've already seen her die in this series (though even being completely spoiler-free it was pretty clear that wasn't her actual end). But we've also now seen her working for UNIT, which is the only other real possible end for her character, as I don't think Clara would ever go fully back to normal life. Will be interesting to see what happens to her.

Danny was briefly mentioned last night but could be a red herring.

Think maybe something bad will happen but some how some way the Doctor will save her and give her a happy ending.

Remember Listen?. Would it really be so bad if she became Mrs Pink and grandmother to Orson Pink ?.

Moffat went back to Ledworth for Amy's last story why not do the same for Clara teh impossible girl ?.

Clara isnt gonna have a happy ending. The times now with the doc are her happy time.

It would make the episode better if the Doctor actually kills Davros instead of the mines which has led to consequences that he has to get right by stopping himself doing the killing.

I kind of guesses when the Doctor raised the Gun to Davros that the opening scene of next week is going to be him then aiming it at the mines and creating a path for Young Davros to cross to safety!. After all it has been said because of the Daleks existing, civilisations have banded together and formed alliances because of their existence which wouldn't happen if he killed Davros.

Well my theory is probably way too dark, but I'd go with...

a) she is really dead, but next week the Doc will save her, maybe by killing Davros and removing the Daleks from existence.

b) we'll get a season watching as the thing worse than the Daleks slowly rises the universe all goes to pot etc. If I were choosing I'd turn humanity itself into the universal oppressor

c) we'll get a finale where the doc presses the big red reset button at Clara's insistence, goes back rescues Davros and Clara gets killed again as a result

Basically the whole Buffy has to sacrifice Angel to save the world type of plot

I believe that Clara will die in episode 10.

However, I believe we will see another splinter version of her in episode 12 so that the Doctor knows that Clara he had the good times wirth is gone, but that there is a Clara out there still alive which may appease his aching heart.

Or of course, something completely different

Reading this thread has made my head wobble. Who Nose. Maybe the Daleks will turn her into, A Dalek !

I too believe the way clara leaves dr who is inthe same way she basically began - in the inside of a dalek (c/o asylum of the daleks)
