There are a lot of posters here who don't understand or are unaware of forum etiquette...

Also the title as a standard should be more informative; I.e. Doctor Who S9E02 The Witch's Familiar: BBC1 26/09/15 8:00 as has been used numerous times in the past

The thread's title should also be in the same format as any other Official Episode Thread

ie. "Doctor Who Series 9 Ep 2: The Witch's Familiar - BBC 1/HD 26th September"

You're missing the point, or rather two points.

1) There's a format for the title that makes it easy for everyone to tell that the episode thread already exists so a) we don't have multiple episode threads and b) people can find it. It's also just basic consistency. So if you for some unknown reason have to be the one to start the thread, then at least bother to do it properly.

2) There is no prize or anything for starting the thread first, and no need for it to be ridiculously early. A lot of people won't even have watched this week's yet. There is absolutely no need to start an episode thread earlier than about Tuesday or Wednesday, and certainly no need to have a childish race to be the first poster.
