I don't think so. James want to win and his every move is calculated to reach that end.
Right from the start he played the game by getting a foot in both camps through that fool Austin. He established that he's nice by defending Janice and helping Chloe, while ticking Austin for his attitude- just to mark how different they are.The only time he slipped up was when he spoke about his'real friends.'
Austin is a foul mouthed bully - not James's type of person at all. James plays the game of Bb the way it should be played with quiet skill and intelligence. The best that can be said about Austin is that his tantrums make James look even better.
