I actually think James's morals and ethics are so much more suspect if he is using Janice and Chloe and their fraility in order to win a RT TV show. At least Austin and the Americans aren't trying to curry favour in this way and are actually behaving normally and honestly.
I'd rather see someone lose their temper legitimately than slyly keep their cool but be an arch manipulator and user. The phrase 'A wolf in sheep's clothing' comes to mind where James is concerned.
