"I'm not having this conversation".

He's full of sh*t.

Well he did have the conversation, at least twice, I think there does come a point when you've said all you can, why keep going around and around in circles? It's tedious. Not just for him!

That's what I said last night. He was using the same boardroom tactics which he employed while in The Apprentice. It didn't feel like he was having a natural conversation, it felt like he was using the same debating methods he would use in Alan Sugar's boardroom.
He wanted to have his say, but he only wanted to have a one-way conversation where when the other person spoke he decided that he wouldn't allow them to have their say to him like they allowed him, and conveniently decided that was the time when he didn't want to talk about it anymore.
But then on various occasions he did talk about it again, but in the same selective manner he did before, by having his say and then saying he doesn't want to talk about it anymore if the other person made a good point.

Huge respect for James and I certainly wish I has that skill. Say: I've had my say, I've heard you out, so I'm done.

Well, tbh he left and Austin followed him in the bathroom. So that conversation would never have been let go by Jenna and Austin following him around room to room.

Why do you give him huge respect when it's not consistent with his previous opinion about Chloe?
Previously he was with Bobby telling Stevi that he had to let Chloe fend for herself or she'll never learn.

Only because it was difficult enough to catch James to actually have a proper conversation because he was off as soon as they put forward a challenging point.
They could hardly catch him and keep hold of him as he was as slippery as an eel.

It couldn't have bothered him that much. He wasn't long in asking Austin to have a 'man tub' with him!

What right did they have to corner him about it? Sure his reason was suspect, but he did have the right to choose who he voted for and, for me, that was what he refused to explain, because it really wasn't any of their business why he didn't choose Jenna - which is what they were really confronting him about.

When the other people are Austin and Jenna, I don't blame him.

His reason being that Chloe needed Janice but Chloe would have chosen Janice anyway. His reason makes no sense. He has a funny gob and he's greasy looking.

Very similar on The Apprentice where he tells Bianca that he's had his say and doesn't want to listen to her input at all.

That's not a conversation though, is it ?

That's like James saying, "I've made my 'pitch' , and you've made yours ... let's see who wins"

Like the op says, he's playing it like he's still on The Apprentice

James is certain to win this. Unlike The Apprentice, where the warmest pool of toxic slurry eventually gets fired near the end, he will take the prize for the kingdom.
