James is not just the talk of the House, but the outside too with his controversial decision to select Janice to be saved dividing both housemates and viewers alike.

His selection has been discussed to death, so putting that aside I'm just wondering where do you stand on James as a housemate right now? Is he your winner or can't you stand him?

Like, or dislike, let me know your opinions.

I'm 50/50 with James.

He's not a winner for me though.

I love how the fact he chose Janice is seen as controversial though

Would be the crappest controversy ever

I still like James, however, the reasons he gave for saving Janice were pathetic. I wish he'd just been honest and said he wanted Farrah to go.

Me too.

I want to like the guy, but there's just that 'something' that's stopping me from doing that. Questioning his sincerity in particular.

If I hadn't watched him on The Apprentice, I would most likely have fallen for his spiel. He took no prisoners on there and really was quite a horrible git.

I dislike him.

And as someone who knows how The Apprentice gets produced behind the scenes, the producers choose which contestants have villain status so they can edit them in a way.

The BBC used James' fighting story from years before to garner his villain status. They then edited 7 days into 55 mins every week. The Apprentice is 100x more manipulated than BB.

The contestants are TOLD to act in a certain way for the enjoyment of viewers. James was told to be difficult.

I like him. I didn't expect to but over the days and especially in the last week or so he has impressed me time and again.

This is utter nonsense. James was not the villain in The Apprentice - that is just a ridiculous statement. He was naive and foolish and hot headed but he was hardly a villain in any sense of the word. He just came across as being a bit stupid.

As for the fighting story I don't believe I saw it anywhere mentioned on the show. In fact it was only on here where the story was handed around like sweeties. I would not have known about it otherwise.

You know people are getting desperate when THIS is the best they can come up with to try and get people to turn on him.

Someone who was behind the scenes begs to differ (also worked at the BBC when Luisa was on The Apprentice). The Apprentice is the most scripted show on air, and I can't believe it's never been exposed. People think it's a genuine programme about being successful

As for the fighting story, yes it was. It was on The Sun, the Daily Mail and other newspapers when he was n The Apprentice, and it fuelled the dislike of him in the media. It was everywhere.

I do like him, and think for the most part he's be true to himself (that's a really trite phrase I know!) and I think he has done and said in there what he actually believes.

I think over the past week though, he's tried to make himself out to look like a good guy. Picking Janice to save was bizarre. There was no reason to do it, apart from the fact he thought it made him look good. I genuinely think he likes Austin and likes being around him, but again he's trying to distance himself from Austin because he thinks it makes him look good. He should absolutely tell Austin he is being a d*ck if he doesn't like his behaviour, that's what any friend would do, but you'd also make sure your friend had a bit of back up and support as well. You wouldn't desert them over because of their actions towards someone else.

A little disappointed in James these last few days. He was doing fine, I genuinely think that he is a good guy from what I've seen in the house. I just think he needs to stop trying to be one.

I like James. He seems very genuine to me and whether he's playing a game or not (and I have no problem with it if he is) he has never treated anyone badly in there. I would be happy to see him win even though I wouldn't really consider him a true celebrity. I'm really team Janice though, so I like him even more for picking her on Friday

I really like James and was pleasantly surprised by him after seeing him on The Apprentice.

However, I think he has really shot himself in the foot over his saving of Janice. I thought he would have saved Bobby.

When I listen to him give his reasons for his decision I almost get it, but then I think if I was Stevie I would be thinking, what am I here for. It is a bit much to save someone so they can be there for someone else. When that someone else is the only person in there with a partner.

Also, I know Austin is overreacting to everything but he has been James' friend since the outset and I don't like the way he is talking about him to others. Having said that Austin is doing the same so maybe not that bad.

I would have voted for James to win but now I think I will just not vote at all.

So no difference to BBUK then...

But the BBC can edit things even more than 5. We think BB is bad with seeing an hour in 24 hrs but The Apprentice show an hour from around 170 hours material. That other 160 odd hours is lost. So someone can either be the nicest guy ever for 99% of those 7 days but the hour can show that 1% in the hour.

He lost your vote because he wanted to save someone rather than Jenna who has bitched about James continously? Ok.

Nah he lost my vote with his lying excuse about Chloe, ffs she is a grown up woman with her boyfriend there too. James has no balls.

He's got more balls that most in there. If he didn't he wouldn't have confronted Austin Jenna and Farrah early on in the series. He could have easily bitched about them. You know like lots do in there.

I still see no difference. BBUK edits a 2 minute clip by rearranging events within the clip.

This James that James is not real James this one and that are RTV James...
