I'm not sure why you keep saying this - it wasn't remotely relevant or amusing first time around and it certainly isn't amusing the sixth or seventh time.

There is something in between constant/arguing/shouting/confrontation and US 'celebs' showboating and people being boring you know.

I think a harmonious house with occasional 'organic' conflict is much better than people acting up for camera time. I don't mind the occasional 'interesting' US contestant but a house full of loud mouth show boaters isn't my cup of tea.

I am sorry but I don't like a fake h/m that tries to keep himself in the House by constantly taking his shirt off and having a fake romance with another Guy because his first choice a Girl Knocked him back. Of course after that he was so bitter about getting knocked back that he did everything he could to get rid of her. You see we all like different thinks and that is the way the World goes around I don't like h/m's that go around looking like they are sucking Lemons I prefer ones that entertain like Jenna and Farrah.

As for the Waltons Comment I wont use it again as it seems to annoy you so much.

Very well put. For the American celebs it is just another pay day, whereas for the British celebs it is an attempt to get back into the spotlight. It does not mean as much for a American Celeb to win because they ultimately will return to their life in the US as soon as their commitments to BB are over, whether they win or not. Whereas for a British celeb to win opens doors for him or her for more TV work in the UK.

I agree too that CBB UK should be exactly that - UK celebrities. Up until this series I did know a lot more about the majority of the American celebrities than some of the UK celebrities but that is due to the fact that many of the past American celebrities were well known world wide, whereas some of the "home grown" UK celebrities have never been heard of outside of the UK. Admittedly in this series I knew nothing about Jenna Jameson, Farrah or Austin. Obviously I knew a fair bit about Janice as she is also known world wide, and the same goes for Daniel Baldwin and Fatman Scoop.

Sherrie I know from LW but she is probably completely unknown outside of the UK, Bobby is likely also only known in the UK. James I had never heard if as I have not watched the Apprentice for ages, never heard of Chris Ellison or Gail Porter and very much doubt that they are known outside of the UK either.

And then only for those who have product to sell ready to go or a tour already booked. Even then they usually drop back off the face of the earth shortly after.

For instance what does James do that could possibly benefit from his appearance? I can't think of any. Has Bobby booked a tour for after the show like Jim Davidson and Julian Clary did? Does Natasha have a record ready to go like the pretty yet boring (so boring I can't think of his name) guy from the regular series? Did Denise reap any rewards that can be quantified from winning? Other than more tacky articles about her drinking, cheating on her husband etc...

I could not agree more, everything you have said I agree 100%. Gobby, loud mouth Americans that have to be constantly heard and shouts for air time. So sick of their constant attention seeking! Give me the BRITS down to earth and laid back characters any day!

I think that most of the Americans they've selected have been horrendously loud, shouty, dominating, aggressive and bullish. Likewise, most of the Brits they've chosen are not like this. Unfortunately, much of the time when we have mouthy Brits, they're usually vile in character e.g. Katie Hopkins, Helen Wood, Pete Burns etc.

Basically, they choose a lot of American bully types, and fewer Brit bully types in the same year's show. Although, I'm not sure our nerves could deal with three American and three bully types all at the same time. It would be murder.

I'd prefer some HMs who are articulate, funny and witty, who can argue and debate without having to scream at the top of their lungs, or have two or more people shouting at one person etc. I ask too much. I know.

Then it couldn't be UKCBB, and the viewers would have to be told at the outset, that there will be no UKHMs until BB sees fit to add them in.

Sorry I have to laugh as when I think of the BRITS who have been on CBB I think of Charlotte Crosby, Jim Davidson, James Jordan, Dee White, Denise Welch. You know all those down to earth laid back characters...

And then I think of Jermaine Jackson, Jackie Stallone and Scoop and think what are they talking about?

There are all types of CBB hm's from both sides of the pond.
