Simon Cowell has moved The Xtra Factor too a mid week slot in order for it too go head to head with It Takes Two!

Sarah , you did a link , well done girl .
Simon can fiddle around with times all he likes , but XF has become too contrived . People are bored with his annual trawl through the rising kids to find the next big boy band . If the show is sinking then xtra factor will hardly do well.

Cowell is clearly feeling threatened and is trying to emulate what SCD have done for years.

In all honesty, back in the day, I was a massive X-factor fan and Strictly had hardly registered with me. However, once it did, at the end of Series 2, Saturday nights became all about Strictly whilst the other show has consistently lost its fizz ever since. I love Dermot O'Leary but TXF was never the same for me once he took over. Kate Thornton was the best!

I don't think that Simon feels threatened, he just seems to get a bit of a buzz out of a joust with Strictly thats all jiroos.

I doubt it'll air against ITT, it'll probably air later on in the night.

Plus, it's actually where Xtra Factor USED to air - it's shows were on Wednesday and Friday nights in the first series

It would be kicking it even bigger if Sir Bruce was still at the Strictly helm Johnny.

Sorry, but I must dis agree with you there. Sir Bruce is a legend, but now well past his best.
