He's in it, but whether the story is finally wrapped, who knows? Hopefully he'll be wrapped up in a tarpaulin and stuffed down the drain in the Platt's garage.

Can't remember (and can't be bothered to look at the archive) is Colin Fishwick still buried under the factory floor?

Problem is, if the many rumours of

Spoiler

are true then we'll be subjected to months and months of false allegations, mistaken arrests and, inevitably, the 'wrong' person ending up on trial, most probably David Platt.

This has been Corrie's standard format for many years now and it's excruciatingly dull.

Sorry, don't know who Colin Fishwick is.

Not only is the story dull, Callum and his band of little helpers are so unreal.

I mean, why does Callum hang around with that fat girl, the one who sounds really stupid?

What's all that about? And why are Callum's so-called henchmen puny teenagers??

No there was some plot device work needed doing on the factory and so Stape went and dug him up to stop him being discovered and Fiz helped him dispose of the body again. It was the Fiz 'shower scene' episode.

That would be tedious and repetitive.

This is why I hope there isn't a murder. I am bored with murder plots, to think Corrie could have gone years without someone being murdered, drawn out trials and false accusations.

Although according to some reports
Spoiler

Colin was a former colleague of John Stape (the latter whom Fiz was married to) who stole Colin's identity. When Colin died in his living room John feared of being discovered so buried Colin under the factory where work was being done.

The reason Callum hangs with the "fat girl" as you put it is because they are childhood friends and go way back.

I think people forget the point is Callum is a wannabe hardman. But it's clear recently with him going up against the likes of Tony Stewart and that other criminal (who is obviously more bigger and influential than him) that Callum is just small fry by comparison. This is the same bloke who needed two guys to beat down Jason first before giving him a kicking.

I have seen in articles about the live that life wont be the same for residents on the street after the live and will have effects for months after - cant remember exact wording.

It was also said it was the end of the platts v callum storyline.

I think its the end of the custody battle but I dont think it will be the end of callum.

I may be in a majority of one but I like Callum and I have enjoyed the storyline. I liked Callum with Sarah till it all got a bit ridiculous with Bethany and then the gun with max.

I honestly cant believe hes been in it so long, he better bloody leave after the live episode, Now that I think about it how stupid are the team at corrie dedicating a whole live episode to this joke of a character, If he doesn't leave after, I strongly hope Kate Oats sees sense and axes him, in fact I have faith in Kate Oats

They're always saying things are going to be life-changing - I don't really believe them anymore

Wasn't the victoria court fire going to have "effects for years to come" or something like that and all thats happened is Sophie talked about "MyMaddie" for a few weeks, Carla got an overnight gambling addiction and then forgot about it again and TracyLuv got away with her 500th crime.

And the injuries Todd got when he was beaten up - I thought he was going to be left blind or something, but all he got was that little scar.

Sinead's injuries from the minibus crash changed her life for a few weeks (when we hardly saw her), but she was soon able to go tramping through the woods on the camping holiday

And Jason might have never "Walked or talked again" except he did, hes now in the 'occasional reference to injury' stage and even that will be over soon.

You're forgetting the tram crash - that was life changing beyond words.

Molly snuffed it - everyone forgot about her. Ashley Peacock died and the remaining tatters of his family promptly moved away. The other two deaths were inconsequential (though I did love Charlotte 'Fizzy Whizzy' Hoyle).

Coronation Street itself was rebuilt brick-by-brick within a matter of months, as though nothing had happened. They even used 'traditional' stone to rebuild the corner shop and the viaduct! Weatherfield is such a bastion of heritage preservation.

Still no reason for her to be included in the plots. She's an unreal character.

But thanks for identifying Colin.

Callum hangs around with Gemma as they've been friends for years and she's reliable and does whatever he asks. He likes her. Callum's mates are realistic. He's a small time scally who sells a bit of speed. He's not supposed to be a big time villain. I know people like them in real life on the council estate where I live in London. There's plenty of them about.

Not sure if callum is killed off in the live or not but in tv times It says on friday the platts are terrorised. I actually thought that because tony was talking about the manhole that we could see him and todd kill callum and put him down it and seal it so no one would know although this being a soap obviously at some point someone would find out. I just hope we don't have another john stape situation.

I read two things. Firstly that Sean Ward (Callum) won't be leaving until 2016 and secondly that the Callum vs Platts story comes to a conclusion in the live episode. I don't know which one is true. I hope the story is wrapped up in the live. I really don't want it dragged out until 2016! I have a feeling it will come to a conclusion in the live. There is a reason for the manhole and I wonder if Callum will fall down it and die during a fight or chase? I doubt the Platts will "bury" him in it.

Have you seen the size of the 'manhole'? There's lots of pics.
Two men ('men' used loosely re Todd) and a couple of shovels would take about a fortnight.
