Isn't it obvious BB are trying to get Austin evicted before the final with showing all this negative stuff and everyone is falling for it. Janice is not a nice sweet old lady, she is an expert on reality tv and what works and she is deliberately winding Austin up, so don't feel sorry for her.

I think Natasha was totally and genuinely concerned about James.
In spite of what he said, I think he was close to tears. ![]() I think James is closer to Austin, even though I'm not sure he wants to be because of how Austin reacts in arguments and how James thinks that might make them both look bad (especially himself). James has actively chosen to spend a lot of time with Austin though. I do think that's a genuine like of someone, the fact that he can't really stay away from him for long. If Austin hadn't have been there, I don't think we would have seen the best side of James, and I don't think James would have had half a good a time as he has had. I couldn't really see him sitting and bonding with Bobby and Stevi in a mantub every night ( ) and while I think he really likes Natasha and Sherri, they go to bed quite early and I think it's a different kind of bond.

For the first couple of weeks Austin did present himself as a nice, level headed and reasonable guy. He really hasn't managed to maintain that facade at all. We are now seeing what a spiteful, mean spitited, weasley little toe rag he is. I do think he and James will have a friendship of sorts when they leave the house but they'll be far from bessies IMO.

It's a shame because James likes Austin, and sometimes when we like someone we give them a pass on some of their behaviour.
But from my experience they don't appreciate or see the pass / understanding that we give them, and still act like a jerk. They don't learn anything or try to improve. Eventually we, and James is now, start to realise they won't change. That is them. They will always be a jerk. Austin is very self centred. The only times he goes along with James is because there is something in it for him. He's not done anything for James that didn't benefit him. I don't like how he sat there with Farrah and Jenna (the day Farrah left), and last night with Jenna, having a go at James. I also think that Jenna thinks James can be easily manipulated. With all the flirting last night. It was so see-through. Austin and Jenna seem to have teamed up now and James is out. James needs to focus more on the British (and Janice) I think. |

Ahh another speech ... his end game is kicking in nicely, even tried for tears. I'm not keen on Austin either but you know what's coming with him. James has sly digs and he may not raise his voice but he knows exactly what buttons to press with Austin. He is a younger, smoother and agreeably better looking version of Bobby, two peas in a pod.Austin hasn't changed, he has been nasty to Janice, Farrah and Chloe from the beginning. James was ok with it then but now it's time to play the victim. He started it Friday on LF saying Jenna and Austin were ganging up on him, yet he had no problem with him, Bobby and Natasha going for Farrah or for Austin going for Chloe and Janice. He only holds up his "I'm the defender of the weak" card when it suits and usually accompanied with a speech. Out of this years hms the only one I have found likeable is Sherrie. I think the theme ruined it and caused far too many issues, but that was probably what BB producers wanted and achieved. There is no way an american is winning this time. James has it in the bag. |

Didn't like paragraphs one and two but I agree with the third.
thanks. I know James is popular but it's something I see in him and some of the things he says. He, Bobby and Jenna, I find have similar traits. I totally understand why he is liked too, apples and oranges.

Since Farrah left, Austin has got closer to Jenna.
Austin prefers the bitchy argumentative self obsessed housemates anyway, being one himself. Farrah was just a bit too far for him, he backed away from her when it was obvious that the whole house couldn't stomach her. With Jenna it's different, he has a fellow bitchy self righteous partner. James has always been a sideline for Austin, if they hadn't been put in the same bed on the first night, I doubt they would've had the relationship they have. Austin likes to bitch and have his bitching backed up, so Jenna is now his favoured ally. Quote:

Austin, the American RTV star, of all people should know that Janice, the veteran American RTV star, is never anything other than Team Janice. They're both control freaks and that's why they're clashing and have done from the beginning. The difference is Janice is not allowing him to impact upon her (ie. she's not changing her behaviour one tiny bit) whereas she knows exactly how to push all his buttons and is frustrating the life out of him.
Hilarious to watch. ![]() Janice is playing the Gary Busey strategy which the GBP fell for hook line and sinker. ![]() She's only just 60 she's not 80! |

Austin has not changed one bit in the house. He and Natasha were the bitching buddies from the moment they entered and Farrah was their target. Austin and James have had the option of separate beds for weeks and chose not to move.
Janice is going for the Gary Busey win. Pretend to be old and feeble for sympathy. James Jordan was Gary's patsy and Austin is Janice's. Austin is NOT a reality TV star. Not in the US anyway. Janice is a RTV star in the UK, her attempt at it here was a massive failure. In the US she's a retired model or a former model. Only Farrah is a RTV star in the US. Jenna is a very famous porn star. Scoop had A hit rap track. Baldwin is a minor movie star. None of the British contestants are known in any way shape or form in the U.S. Janice is playing the Gary Busey strategy which the GBP fell for hook line and sinker. ![]() She's only just 60 she's not 80! Maybe Janice is as you say playing a game but nevertheless she is still very likeable imo, I must admit she does come across older than 60 though.

I wonder why the official CBB site has Janice's age as "unknown". It makes her sound like a 2000-year-old museum relic

Either Janice or Chloe and Stevie will win. The edit makes that clear.

The only US housemate I have ever heard of this series is Janice, sure I have heard of the other Baldwins as they are quite well known but as for Jenna, Farrah and Austin....well they come from a different planet to me.

As you can see we have enough of our own. All the contestants this year are from another planet, no one more so than Janice who lives on planet Janice population 1 It's the edit that decides who wins. So it's either Janice or Steviand Chloe. The rest are just fodder, clearly. |

We don't know what happened there. Apparently Austin had a go at James prior to that convo. So, we don't know what actually happened apart from the Austin/Janice thing.

I have no interest in who is known in the UK. those people are your problem not mine.

Sherrie is a household name having been in Corrie for many years ( my personal fav soap ) so I love her to bits, Natasha being part of Atomic Kitten who were a well respected girl group and Bobby a well known comedian, yes I know you don't find him funny and he really is not anymore but he was at one time. James is just normal RTV fodder with no talent but surprisingly likeable considering his earlier appearance in TA.I could quite happily live on Janet's planet Just as long as we were residing either end.I think James will win though and I do not really rate Janice's chances especially having come in the bottom 4 last Friday. I also think that Austin has a chance unless he continues down the self distruct road he is currently persuing with Jenna ( that woman is poison) I just really really hope that Stevi and Chloe do not win, they are my worst nightmare as winners.

James saving Janice lost my vote for him as a winner. He really has turned into a brown nose.

Austin hasn't changed - he's been a bitch from the start and has always picked on someone but has been consistent in his dislike of Janice. James has changed and started to distance himself from Austin last week coincidentally as we head towards final night. |

James is better without Austin around him in MY opinion. James should hang out with Natasha more. They are great together. I also liked James when we saw him around Bobby. He really needs a break from Austin.
