What, you mean like the way he aggressively GRABBED it out of her hand and threw it across the room? That lady's a 60 year old female remember and he's a young, fig, very aggressive male. In my view he's 100 times worse than Janice could ever be.

What's more, Janice did not just throw the letter at him, he was at the time goading her and having a go - like he always does. I would have shoved it right up his arse, SIDEWAYS- what on EARTH did he expect?
She is a 60 yr old bitch, she knows exactly what she is doing. It makes me laugh that so many people are taken in by her.

So funny.

I'm on Austin's side. All he did was try and enforce the rules.
She is barking mad.
Well said and why if stevie and chloe are one contestant did they get a letter each!

One or two of the other HMs said that somebody should get down and look in the box. My guess is that she heard that and quickly decided that if anybody had to get down then it may as well be her without thinking of the consequences of doing so.

I think janice would of picked fairly even after he didn't accept her apology if he hadnt of went shhh right in her ear and so that made her pick him straight away

True, James had even given her an easy out by saying it was ok to pick his letter to go, if Austin had kept his big gob shut for 5 seconds she wouldn't have flipped at him.
Exactly! Shows how stupid Austin is that he couldn't keep his mouth shut for that minute.

I have no problem with him not accepting her apology. Saying 'sorry' doesn't automatically give you a free pass but how stupid was he to antagonise her at that very moment! The chances are she wouldn't have picked Austin at all and James was willing to give up his letter.

I'd have done the same thing as Janice if he'd have done that to me.

Me too. All the others though what he had the guts to say about ruining someone's chance of getting their letter. Sherrie even muttered it!

Janice knew exactly what she was doing when she stepped off the rock. Plenty of airtime, and the chance to pathetically say she was sorry. The act is getting a bit frayed around the edges now Janice.

I wish he had picked the letter up and read it. What would have happened?

Taken in ?
In what way ?

Some of us like her "mad as a box of frogs" persona.
No-one thinks she is perfect - just some of us think she is funny.

Austin on the other hand is a controlling little bitch.

If they're one contestant, why do they have two heads, 4 arms, etc, etc?

Surely they should be allowed only one of anything!

Why is Janice to be treated as a child?

She's 60 not 106. Surely if she forefits someone's letter from home, if she leaves something out of the fridge or if she gives away answers to the other side during a task then others have a right to be mad at her?

What is the reaction supposed to be to these things?

The problem is Austin is one of the few people in that house who reacts with honesty and doesn't sit there thinking "how will it look on TV if I say this?", which is the calculation most other housemates make.

She doesn't have any right but Austin is just a control freak.

I must have missed the episode that decided he was head of the house.

Dear God, I'm always leaving something out of the fridge, shoving the Lenor bottle as is, in the washing machine then wondering where the clunking is coming from, going to put the drying in the dishwasher instead of the tumble dryer.

Shoot me now lol.

Sheree is five years older than Janice and managed over two hours more and even then only got down because the others all agreed on it. People make me laugh when they say shes a little old lady - Sheree is 65 and managed to do everything just fine.

I'm younger than Sherrie, older than Janice and I could not have stood on that podium for the length of time required.

I would have had to dash to the bathroom way before that lol.

To be fair, Sherrie is in better health than Janice.

tbh I totally agree with you. I don't feel a bit sorry for Janice as I believe she does these things on purpose for the airtime and its so blatant and tbh so boring now. I couldn't live with her she would drive me nuts.

ah yea she has arthritis but can put her legs around her neck..not sure how that works exactly to be honest as for most arthritic sufferers that would cause far too much pain if they could even do it.

I can put my legs around my neck and I suffer from arthritis. I am hypermobile so it's an easy thing for me to do. I don't make a habit of doing it, as there isn't really a need. But that doesn't take away the fact that I can. It all depends how supple you are.
