Like James, I completely understand Austin feeling upset
BUT it's the way he was with Janice after.
Yes, I know, I'd be upset like Austin was, but then again, Janice felt guilty and threw her one away. But then, he had a go at James even though James was agreeing with him ![]() "Why do you keep avoiding the question?" He didn't, he answered the question. I completely get why Austin was annoyed, but to take it out on James when James said "sorry mate, give me a cuddle" was silly. Surely he should have had a go at Bobby who was defending Janice more during the task. Austin started that. I get why he was upset, but thought it was silly that he flipped at James, and then how he was with Janice in that last minute. It was quite uncomfortable. |

I think Austin should also question why Jenna said 'I think someone should do it' (or words to that effect). That's when Janice stood down off of the boulder.
Maybe he needs to ask his friend Jenna why she would say that. But of course he won't.

Yes
![]() Austin is his own worst enemy. He can't seem to fathom that others have feelings or opinions - if he's upset, he's the only one who's upset. If he thinks something, everyone must agree with him. I said on another thread that I feel sorry for him in a way, because it can't be easy to go through life like that. Ihate to say it, but I'm not surprised that he doesn't have many friends. He can't see how badly Jenna is manipulating him, either. As for James, I thought he dealt with Austin really well. |

I do salv.
Austin keeps shooting himself in the foot. He's being played by Janice and Jenna and he doesn't seem to have a clue. I think having a go at James for, what? For not being nasty ENOUGH about Janice is pathetic. And it makes me sad. I like Austin, I loved the bromance. Janice is a player and I loathe Jenna, it's all gone wrong.

I agree with you.
And Jenna sticking her nose in. When they announced the secret present Jenna shouted 'Someone should get off and get it' she then said 'who's gonna get off and get it' (or something similar, then started shaking her head when Janice done what Jenna suggested, muttering 'she's just lost someones letter'. Then she joins Austin in having a go at James. I cannot stand Austin or Jenna, and as bad as it sounds, I'm glad he didn't get his letter. |

He's still narked about James choosing Janice to stay the previous night. Janice took his letter from him and threw it at his feet and he sees her being able to do it because James let her stay.
I get it but as for winning or doing well on this type of show James is clearly way ahead of Austin but I find that sad. |

I actually think they just made a good point on BOTS just now
The psychologist lady said James sees friendship as being honest about bad behaviour whereas Austin sees friendship as being loyal and always backing each other up. |

I think it was six of one and half a dozen of the other.
They're both being a bit silly. It really wouldn't have killed James to have agreed with Austin that Janice was out of line. She was out of line. No one's impressed that James suddenly has his nose up her rear. It was a pretty awful experience for Austin (in BB house terms anyway!), if James have wanted to have another quiet word with him about his language towards Janice, he could have waited till morning. I also don't like that James keeps dangling the 'friend badge' in front of Austin and then taking it away. Either you're friends or you're not, you don't offer up your friendship like its something of an honour. That being said, when James said 'Let's have a cuddle', Austin could have just gone with that. he has difficult letting go of things sometimes, he was clearly still upset about earlier. He was taking it out on James more than he should. Yes, James should have backed him up a little more, but it wasn't his fault that Janice did what he did. A cuddle would have helped in so many ways. A cuddle always helps. ![]() So, I basically think it's just two boys, being idiot boys. I still really like both of them. They are essentially throwing a way a really nice friendship because they are in the middle of being manipulated by Janice and Jenna. In the end, they are the only ones that will suffer. |
