You are probably right, nine times out of ten on CH5 BB the winner is someone who is highly manipulative like Jim davidson.

I think the edits have been bad for Austin even with their friendship/relationship the edits always look like it is Austin making the moves on James, yet watching live they are both as "touchy feely" with each other, i cant understand why he is more protected than Austin?? saying that look at all my post's i love Austin and James and sad it has broken down now as loved their bromance together...Off topic but is DS busy as im having loads of trouble posting?

Don't forget that Austin was also in the top 4, how ironic if he gives the winner title to Austin, with the gay vote as well, how ironic will that be?

I don't want either of them to win personally, Natasha or Sherrie would be my chosen top 2 now, even Chloe and Stevie could take it!

True, he is playing the game, and true again, he will most likely win, but personally, I don't like the way he has played the game.

I got fed up of his little moral monologues a week or so ago.

People keep posting this (or is it just you?). But seem to conveniently ignore that James has been talking behind Austin's back too, most recently with Natasha. Along with the outrage at Austin calling Janice a 'c***' but completely forgetting she used the same insult towards others earlier in the series and it seems that double standards truly abound around here.

I think Austin has most probably kicked of more then we have seen...I do not think James has been protected at all.

I have really enjoyed the friendship...and I think they are talking again...but Austin gets frustrated really quickly and sadly he started taking his frustration out on James.

True..i think he is quite loyal to who means something to him and obviously thought James would be loyal regardless if they rowed, i mean they always make up after a row,and proberly did not think for a minute he would nominate him...

Me neither. Austin deserved it. Considering the way Austin and Jenna turned on him (ganged up) I would have been let down if James had NOT nominated Austin. It may indeed be game playing - I don't care, it is Austin who has blown his chances not James.

And I wonder who else James could possibly have nominated as he gets on with most of them - only Austin and Jenna have given him cause.

Yes, I think you may well be right- well I hope so. Such a sweet friendship can't be cast aside that easily.

I agree, who should James have nominated, one of his fellow Brits who he gets on with? I am happy with his nominations. I think he has played a great game and if he wins he will have deserved it.

As a fan of James who still does want him to win.

I think when the HLs are shown tonight, he will have truly blown it. I compleely understand why he did in theory because normally in noms, you nominate the people you either don't get on with or you have had a row with. Austin and Jenna fit in the 2nd category. James hasn't had any other rows with anyone else in the last week. So the two people he has had a row with, he nominated. It's fair in theory.

BUT both Austin and the public won't think of it in that way. They will see it as a betrayal and disloyalty. Already James is getting ripped to pieces on social media for the nomination, so when it is shown tonight, I really think James would have blown it and there's no going back.

The only two ways it would soften the blow for James is if:

1. Austin nominated James too. Which I don't think he did due to his and Jenna's reaction.
2. Austin had a big row with James before noms and lead James to do it.

But if neither of the above happened, James is surely done. And the things I have read are not from Austin fans, they are from James fans. They think he is a snake for doing it.

As I said, I get the nomination because of how Austin's been lately and James has repeatedly said his behaviour was wrong, but still.

I really hope they work it up.

How sad, I can't believe I get so immersed in BB But they are two people I will be following outside the house from their social media accounts.

Does betrayal come that easily to British subjects?

After 4 weeks of championing his husband and James, looks like Jake Lees has turned against James.

He retweeted this...

@bbuk he is DEFINITELY playing a game and it's at the expense of @austinarmacost's feelings. Austin says to janice what we all are thinking

Not picking at you Vesna but this is why i hate this theme of USA vs UK because everyone is blinded by that and see it as a us and them mentality. Obviously the USA has had it worse with it being in the UK and voted by the UK, i would rather the theme of a series be more about them as individuals than the nation they were born in.

Well of course his husband is going to say that...the only thing is he has not been in the house when Austin is taking his frustration out on everyone.

Exactly it's a dumb idea, the only way it would have worked is in a more BB USA style comp where housemates evict you instead of the public.

Yeah Austin is really loyal I am not sure about his loyalty towards his hubby at present with all the things he has been saying to James, it's almost like he has fallen for James imo and of course Austin has no friends according to himself so how can he b e loyal.

I would not say the back biting and ganging up against James with Jenna is exactly loyal either.......no I think Austin has only loyalty to himself and his own feelings and cares nothing for anyone else's

I think this is the heart of the matter. Who on earth could James nominate Now that he saved Janice and made clear he sees her as very important to Chloe's survival he could hardly nominate her and after saving Janice for Chloe and being such a best mate to Stevi nominating them is not going to look good. Clearly he would never nominate Bobby, Nana or Natasha so he HAD to nominate Austin and Jenna despite apparently being their good friends too

I guess having fallen out with them actually helped him as at the end of the day it is the volatile and younger Americans he is nominating which from a calculating perspective is always going to look better than nominating a Brit or women you've made out to be frail and put upon or a mentor Hmm anyone would think James set this whole thing up. It hasn't half played nicely into his hands.

I just don't see any James supporters going off him at this late stage of the show.

No worries. I have no problems with others seeing things different from me.
It's never been a fair game the UK team always had an extra member, for instance both Chloe and Stevie got letters, surely only one should have. And Janice has never played for her team. So UK started 2 up. The voters are overwhelmingly British so that's another way it's unfair.

The theme doesn't bother me anymore than all the themes do. But it's not a fair game and never has been. Why are the larger UK team allowed to field their entire team? Surely team contests require an equal number of players on each team... Well in the US it does, no games here are fixed in this manner. Like in survivor when one team has more players some sit out to keep the teams even.

That people see no issue with the lack of parity perhaps indicates it's a societal problem. I don't know. win at all costs...
