Not just you! That neither letter even gave a token mention to the other was extremely odd. I mean, they're apparently engaged, about to become part of each others' families, they're in there as a couple, and yet not a single reference to it...

They must have *cough* accidentally completed the wrong 'letter from home' BB template.

Chloe's was written for her fan base image... pre-pubescent and young teens who think of pets & phony love story princesses.. utter idiot rubbish

I was about to start a thread saying the same.

I would have expected a "you are doing well and its lovely to see Stevi/C-J supporting you and you helping each other"

I haven't been a member of the fake romance club but think I am now after the letters

I'm just watching now, with this soppy piano music in the background. They've all seen letters from home and they all know how to react, to get the more gullible viewers' support. Barf!

Why did they have 2 letters from home if they are 1 housemate?

Was just about to mention this. Beat me to it!

Would reinforce any belief that they were indeed a real couple had they shared 1 letter. Its gone t*ts up for them now

There's another thread about this, mentioning the fact that Stevi didn't seem to know anything about Chloe's guinea pig. And I said in there that she didn't seem to know much about his daughter either, cos he was talking about "my daughter" on Day 1 like he would to somebody he barely knew. That was my first real inkling that their relationship isn't real.

On a more general point, I think BB are mischievous in showing us the most nauseating and obviously 'fake' aspects of their relationship. They know that noone buys it and that's why we've had to endure endless "I love you, Chloe", "no, I love YOU Stevi". We're being trolled.

I bet their families have refused to take part in the con, but have agreed to at least keep schtum.

If the letters had been full of comments about them as a couple, it would just be claimed that the families were in on the deception. Pretty much anything that happens can be transformed into more "evidence" that they're fake. That's what can happen with 'confirmation bias'.

As they entered as a couple they should've only received one letter.

Nah no mention and individual letters makes it look worse.

There's no confirmation bias about it, as far as I'm concerned. I don't find them authentic as a couple and it's as simple as that. I haven't sat here transforming anything in to evidence, proof or confirmation. I've just seen a fair number of real couples, some happy and some not so happy and these frauds don't ring anywhere near true.

Possibly but no one's asking for letters full of references to the other, just a normal fond little note to say 'you're both doing so well'... or we're really enjoying watching you together on screen'.

For both families to completely ignore the other HM is just bizarre and I can't find any rational explanation for it other than both families are as apalled/irritated/mortified by them as I am and have decided to just pretend it's not happening.

I didn't see this earlier.

The dodginess factor is rising by the second.

Their families obviously know they are not a real couple

I wouldn't be surprised if the real boyfriend who 'dumped' Chloe actually never did, and is still there in the background

The only thing that is authentic about them is their desperation to become celebrated without actually doing anything to merit it. What have they achieved? What is their talent? Why do they expect us to celebrate them?

We're meant to be celebrating their luuurve

We've had Edward and Mrs Simpson ... we've had Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor ... we've had Brad and Angelina

Now we have Stevie and Chloe Jasmine

Am I alone in thinking that they ARE a real couple, but that they're both just really, really, really, really weird?

I think the word is desperate, and not in the sense of life being harsh to them, but in the sense that their sense of entitlement is bottomless; a sense of entitlement justified by precisely nothing.
