I would imagine he would want to hear what his husband had to say after his behavior with James. He must be a bit anxious that his husband has dumped in after the Pandora's box moment the other night, so of all the housemates, he probably needed the assurance more than anyone. Obviously doesn't excuse his behavior to Janice but maybe explains the extreme nature of it. Obviously he can change his own behavior but presume he must be worried now it is coming to an end. I know I would be!

Austin wanted his letter from home so he could blub and wail at reassurance from his husband, and then cry some more when his US family talked about his dead brother.

Austin is the biggest game player in there.

He's watched BB he knows he'll get his letter, he will now get his own moment to perform and not have to share it with the others. He can grandstand for the win.....bless him...not.

Austin is a vile individual. Calling Janice the 'c' word last night was right out of order and proved to me that he has real anger issues where women are concerned. All I can say is I'm glad he not into women because it does not take much for him to turn into an obsessive aggressive bully towards them. He is a selfish, petulant man-boy and has the coldest, emptiest eyes I've seen on a man. His husband is welcome to him.

I think he will get his letter and therefore his screen time so he will be able to cry for the public's sake .

Only thing there is an eviction on Tuesday so bb would need to manipulate things quickly.

Am I wrong but does he not live in the UK so why the comments about the Americans being so far away from home etc.

That comment confused me too.

I'm not disputing that.
Surely the letter would be from his husband who lives in the UK though.

Would he be so supportive now after the dry humping in bed incident. it is obvious how much he likes James and not in a platonic way. I would have been ok with it all until that point with the Pandora's box comment, now if I were his husband, I wouldn't be supportive at all, I would be annoyed that he had made a fool of me and put himself in that position.

I think you should take into account that Janice isn't averse to using that word herself. Austin's actions would be so much worse if he was dealing with a sweet old lady, but that in no way describes Janice.

I've not heard Janice using that word - but any man using it about a woman, any woman, is one to be avoided in my opinion. He's a nasty character.

Agreed. He's shown absolutely no consideration for anyone else. Just vile behaviour!

I liked him at first but have to agree with you now. He knows he will get his letter and see his family soon. He seems to not be happy unless he browbeats everyone into having the same attitude as him. And I hate the loaded question tactic and wish James had thought to point that out to him (that's that what he was doing, not just 'asking a simple question').

Oh please. He wanted to ham it up over his husbands word.
Pathetic, he went on about how he's thousands of miles from home, he lives in Huddersfield . Pillock

That's true, and explains why he feels more in common with the Brits than his fellow Americans.
