11.03am: Austin is not ready to forgive and forget. He says he feels like James kicked him "in the nuts."

10.18am: For those of you asking, looks like James and Austin are still sharing a bed, despite the drama. - https://twitter.com/BBUKLive/status/645889789070340096

10.53am: Despite repeated reminders from Big Brother, James still hasn't got out of bed.

10.57am: Oh, he's emerged. He's trying to make Austin smile. It's not going well.

There goes James win. IMO, to the public, there will be no justifiable reason despite the rows to nominate a friend.

They'll be in the Man Tub in a bit and everything will be forgotten.

True, but I don't think it will be the same. Even if Austin does forgive him, James will come across to us as being unloyal and a backstabber... which by the way, paves the way for a... yep, you guessed it. A Stevie and Chloe victory

By those tweets, it seems only Austin is upset and James' isn't arguing back, so it seems clear Austin didn't nom James and James feels bad about it.

12.12pm: Stevi's working out in the garden. James is taking an outdoor shower... by himself.

2.04pm: James and Austin have gone for a swim. Do they never get cold?! #BBUKLive

Sounds like things might be getting better between them, I hope so.

I think everyone completely understands that it's a game show and it's entirely justifiable to nominate any one at any time for any reason.

So what is James and Austin have been friends? Austin's been a think like a ***** and James nominating him is completely understandable. If a friend of mine was acting like a knob I'd nominate him too.

Again, no one has given me so much as a single reason why James is in ANY way unloyal or a backstabber!?

So he nominated both of them. So what? They're the best and worst things in the house to him right now.

I can't blame him for nominating them right now. They've treated him awfully (Austin especially) and it looks to me like he's just trying to get through the next few days.

Hopefully Austin will go tomorrow and it'll all be over.

Well said. And I would use the term "friends" very loosely. They didn't know each other a month ago. Let's see what happens on the outside...

I agree with everything in this post except for the last sentence (I'm hoping Austin sees the light and redeems himself). The psychologist on a recent BOTS hit the nail on the head when she said Austin and James have a fundamentally different concept of friendship: Austin thinks it gives him immunity from criticism when he acts like a knob, whereas James believes - quite correctly - that a REAL friend is someone who recognises both the flaws and virtues of a friend and isn't afraid to let them know about it. And a REAL friend would accept that the criticism comes from a place of respect, not malice and/or indifference.

Frankly, I'm at a loss to understand the shock and confusion towards James after he nominated Austin. From the beginning of this series, I've wanted Austin to win (with James a very close second, though I would have been happy for either of them to triumph), but Austin has been throwing his weight around like an unpleasant bully for more than a week now, most of it aimed at people who don't deserve it, and he has literally lied in people's faces by denying he has an attitude problem, or that he and Jenna were ganging up on James the other day. The way he speaks to Bobby on occasion (suggesting he's 'thick as pig shit', for example) is also unforgivable.

James had EVERY RIGHT to nominate Austin and Jenna (especially since he's unaware of the poison Jenna has been feeding Austin about James behind his back whilst simultaneously flirting with him!!), if only to vent his frustrations. Clearly, he doesn't want either of them to go, and all this talk of him 'game playing' and 'trying to get rid of the competition' is nothing more than anti-James drivel.

All said and done, I'd STILL like Austin and James to be in the final two, and for one of them to win. But not if Austin is going to continue alienating everyone around him, and blaming everyone else for his aggressive provocation.

Agree with all of this but no many people see like this and I actually hope they will be the top 2

Do you really need a reason when James has shared a bed with Austin and hung out with him nearly every second in the house and had the closest relationship this CBB, and you don't think that it is disloyal of James to nominate Austin? Say no more!!!!!

I definitely don't want them as the final two, I think they are both attention seekers and I have had enough of the camera being on those two now and want to see more of the others so both of them could go if they were up tomorrow night and I wouldn't care. It's not going to happen but it would be good!

Not necessarily. Natasha nominated Jenna. If the "friend" you nominated is unpopular people don't seem to mind.

'Loyalty' is a two-way street: Spending every waking moment with someone doesn't give them licence to attack and provoke you in an aggressive manner, and to demand blind allegiance, even when you don't agree with some of their behaviour. That isn't 'friendship', it's fascism.

Natasha and Jenna's friendship is and was in no way the same league as James and Austin's. I can't stand either Austin or James but James nominating Austin was a really crappy thing for him to do.

If James is constantly beingn attacked and provoked in an aggressive manner, why does he not distance himself, why not stop sharing a bed, why keep having his late night chats with Austin and Jenna?

Obviously the aggression isn't occurring 24 hours a day, and we're only getting to see a condensed 'dramatic' version of events. Even so, that's a question you might ask all three of them, not just James. Why are Austin and Jenna 'allowing' him to share a bed and 'allowing' him to join their late night chats? The implication that James is somehow more 'at fault' than the other two, and that only he must demonstrate absolute loyalty doesn't wash.

James is the one that nominated his closest friend in there and then slept in bed with him afterwards
