James is the one that nominated his closest friend in there and then slept in bed with him afterwards
He didn't nominate him in malice. He did it out of frustration. And Austin is perfectly capable of moving beds too.

Austin could have moved...after all they both share the bed.

I agree with everything in this post except for the last sentence (I'm hoping Austin sees the light and redeems himself). The psychologist on a recent BOTS hit the nail on the head when she said Austin and James have a fundamentally different concept of friendship: Austin thinks it gives him immunity from criticism when he acts like a knob, whereas James believes - quite correctly - that a REAL friend is someone who recognises both the flaws and virtues of a friend and isn't afraid to let them know about it. And a REAL friend would accept that the criticism comes from a place of respect, not malice and/or indifference.

Frankly, I'm at a loss to understand the shock and confusion towards James after he nominated Austin. From the beginning of this series, I've wanted Austin to win (with James a very close second, though I would have been happy for either of them to triumph), but Austin has been throwing his weight around like an unpleasant bully for more than a week now, most of it aimed at people who don't deserve it, and he has literally lied in people's faces by denying he has an attitude problem, or that he and Jenna were ganging up on James the other day. The way he speaks to Bobby on occasion (suggesting he's 'thick as pig shit', for example) is also unforgivable.

James had EVERY RIGHT to nominate Austin and Jenna (especially since he's unaware of the poison Jenna has been feeding Austin about James behind his back whilst simultaneously flirting with him!!), if only to vent his frustrations. Clearly, he doesn't want either of them to go, and all this talk of him 'game playing' and 'trying to get rid of the competition' is nothing more than anti-James drivel.

All said and done, I'd STILL like Austin and James to be in the final two, and for one of them to win. But not if Austin is going to continue alienating everyone around him, and blaming everyone else for his aggressive provocation.
Well said. Except the last bit. I'm over Austin now and I'd really like him out before Janice.

He could, but he never would simply because no matter what James does, Austin will come crawling back because he likes him so much.

IMO James voted for Austin as a warning to him about not heeding his continued advise about carlming down his behaviour, I don't think he voted for him to go, and would be gutted if he was evicted, but he has had enough of the spoilt bratt act and the aggressive attacks Austin unleashes on people that don't deserve it, he had nothing left but to nomminate him to show him how serious he is about it.

Jenna on the other hand has tried to play them all, calling them all rotten and revelling in being able to nomminate certain people, she is a nasty piece of work who has tried, and continues to try to manipulate the HM's into doing her bidding. She has tried on several occassions he needs to be on her side etc, she has made all the bullets and let others fire them and thought she was clever in doing so. James however, has seen her for what she is and has rightly nomminated, so good on him.

I notice Austin was so upset with James he still slept in the same bed as him last night, so I feel the situation has as usual been blown up out of all proportion to suit BB, it is a game at the end of the day with the best player being the winner, lest any of us forget that fact. Has anyone thought what would have happened if James had saved Farrah instead of Janice, would we even be discussing any of this now I wonder? Because I have no doubt if Austin had to chose between his American HM's and his "friend" James who he would have picked, I think we all know the answer to that, he has told Jenna often enough, he is team America!!

Touché!

To be fair, I wrote that more in sadness than anger because I think Austin has let himself down. I don't bear him any ill will, and I still hope he pulls himself together, but I'm not so blind that I can't see he's behaved really badly. Not Farrah-level badly, you understand (!!), but still badly.

Not really, you can't say he only did it as a warning and not because he wants him out, because he had no clue that the vote would be shown to the house or that Austin would know. A nomination means you want that person out. James wants Austin out before the likes of Chloe, Janice, etc. That's what his nomination means.

If James was really taking a stand against Austin he'd stop sharing a bed with him. It's beyond a joke now. Their relationship is clearly fake and being used to get airtime. We're supposed to invest in this crap while watching the show but it's all contrived bollocks.

Winner of BB15 and was in for a couple of weeks in BB16 as a guest.

You do NOT want to view that liability.
