I think some are upset with him. But he will charm them back.
I don't like him by the way.

He has nothing to pull round....Austin has been talking about James behind his back with Jenna.

Austins problem is that he can do what he likes but no one else can do it to him.

He deserved the nomination.

He's overused his 'sermon on the sofa' chats now for my money. Once, okay. Twice? Maybe. But every time he opens his mouth now it's as if he's clearing his throat to make a direct "look what a nice guy I am" appeal to the viewers and doesn't actually have much of an interest in the housemate who he's talking to.

Saving Janice might have been a step too far, especially given that he admitted that he knew Chloe and Stevi would save her anyway. It's as good as admitting that he did it for the kudos and he was willing to see one of his friends in the house, either Jenna or Bobby, potentially go because of it.

I agree, I would be upset if he had nominated a Brit. Well done James.

What about James talking to Jenna about Austin and James talking to Natasha about Austin? Is that any different?

Why?

As a fan of James who still does want him to win.

I think when the HLs are shown tonight, he will have truly blown it. I compleely understand why he did in theory because normally in noms, you nominate the people you either don't get on with or you have had a row with. Austin and Jenna fit in the 2nd category. James hasn't had any other rows with anyone else in the last week. So the two people he has had a row with, he nominated. It's fair in theory.

BUT both Austin and the public won't think of it in that way. They will see it as a betrayal and disloyalty. Already James is getting ripped to pieces on social media for the nomination, so when it is shown tonight, I really think James would have blown it and there's no going back.

The only two ways it would soften the blow for James is if:

1. Austin nominated James too. Which I don't think he did due to his and Jenna's reaction.
2. Austin had a big row with James before noms and lead James to do it.

But if neither of the above happened, James is surely done. And the things I have read are not from Austin fans, they are from James fans. They think he is a snake for doing it.

As I said, I get the nomination because of how Austin's been lately and James has repeatedly said his behaviour was wrong, but still.

I don't agree, he's used Austin for his storyline and now he's not needed anymore he doesn't want to know him now and just wants Austin to look bad and himself good! I think he is so obvious with his tactics, nominating Janice to stay when he said himself that Chloe would have saved Janice and then knowing Austin was in the top 4 so maybe his biggest competition, especially with the gay vote as well, so destroy his image and get more people to dislike him but making himself look good at the same time! Utterly ruthless!!!!!

James started losing me when he saved Janice for absolutely no good reason. He lost me when he said "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" (I mean really, can anyone support someone who behaves like that?). Nominating Austin was the final nail in the coffin that ensured that I actually would vote for Clovie over James.

But it's UK v USA, of course it matters, maybe he wants a Brit to win, you know because he is British.

Austin has been down right rude to James over the last few days...I like Austin and loved there friendship...but Austin was starting to lose it and was taking out his frustrations on James.

It seems like they are talking again which I am glad about...and would love to see both in the top three.

I do think he has blown it personally, the first couple of weeks I thought that James was a reformed character from the Apprentice days and I liked the new James and he and Natasha were my favourites early on! But I have had nagging doubts for a couple of weeks now, how two faced he was with Jenna and trying to make out he wanted a relationship with Farrah, all lies I think! I feel he has used Austin for the storyline but now he knows he's up against him in the top 4 he wants rid of him, hence why he nominated him and all of his speeches about his close relationship with his grandad.

We are now seeing the ruthless James that was on the Apprentice, he hasn't changed at all, just the same fame hungry James we saw before!!!!!

Then why did he save Janice (who is American) instead of Bobby, who everybody expected him to and also knowing that Chloe would save Janice anyway. To make him look good so that Chloe would still have her in the house but not forgetting that he nominated Stevie and Chloe the week before and in front of Chloe told them he would never have nominated them had it just been Stevie! James is not at all concerned about Chloe but done what he did to look good, just as he is now throwing his friendship to the kerb with Austin because he wants to win and knows Austin is his competition!

I really don't think it's anything to do with the BRITS winning, only him. That has been his goal from the beginning and he's no different now to what he was like in the Apprentice, just a little wiser and older and more ruthless!

I don't think he's genuine at all.

He seems now incapable of being involved in any conversation without him delivering a sermon.

"Cup of tea, James?"

"I like tea, many people like tea. But people who don't have much struggle to find the money to buy tea. I'm not one of those people, right, who says 'just because I can afford milk, everyone else should' because I know it's hard for people, I've been there myself. I know what it's like to struggle so I identify with people who find it hard to afford things like tea and I don't think that makes me a bad person."

"....er...okay".

I am shocked you say that Austin deserved the nomination from James, let's see what the public think about loyalty tonight after nominations then! I am not a big fan of James or Austin now but liked them early on but with how good their friendship has been I would never have seen either of them nominating each other, I am really disappointed in James and some of his other decisions too this week!
