I find it hilarious that the only excuse people can come up with is that Janice said it about Austin in the DR... yet you obviously can't stand Janice so shouldn't the same apply to Austin? It's far different to vent in the DR then to berate and tear someone down when they're not even fighting back. He had a 60 year old woman hiding under the covers with his tirade, and honestly the c-word was one of the least offensive things. I take more issue with him calling her a bad mother (yet having no clue about her relationship with her kids), and implying she is a whore because she modeled... grand human being right there. There's always an excuse for poor wittle Austin, but I don't buy it for a second. He's the nastiest one in there.
Also, I'm American. This whole 'Brits must be cold because they have no issue with James nominating Austin' is absolute crap. It has nothing to do with a cultural divide. Austin stans will apparently defend him to the death no matter what vile thing he does. The rest of us are simply as fed up as James, and glad Austin is finally getting it back. James didn't backstab Austin. He told him time and again to his face, and in return was ganged up on and cornered by Jenna/Austin about every opinion/decision he made. Good for him for not taking it anymore.

It's not really a game. There are no rules that can't be changed. The teams are never equal. Saying "it's just a game" in this instance is just spinning it to make it palatable.
There is no PRIZE and every gets a SET fee. Tell me what are James's 4 business's that I keep hearing about that he can leave for 3 or so weeks to fend for themselves? And exactly what benefit is it to these businesses for him to win? Not that he will The winners will be Chloe and Stevi. And the US vs UK theme suggests it is very much a game show / competition. |

I see no upside to James nominating his closest friend in the house. That's just wrong, IMO. This is why no one, even advocates of it can define the game... It has game elements and reality elements and the concoction results in something indefinable. Personally i call it a game when i'm talking about the game elements and dither a bit when talking about the reality side of it. Back stabbing a mate is of course real in every sense of the word, it's contemptable, but if one can pass it off as game play, well, it's much easier to enjoy the entertainment. |

I'm not trying to make anything more palatable. In the case of James, I find his behaviour perfectly justified.
And the US vs UK theme suggests it is very much a game show / competition. ![]() This is an entertainment show where nothing is fair, the rules can change and different people are treated differently. Heck they didn't even manage to let the public vote Farrah out which is their slogan. Who decides? Well it wasn't the public it was the producers so no it isn't a game sorry. That's just what Bobby and James say to excuse their bad behaviour. At best it's a popularity contest where some people's bad deeds are never shown and others good ones are never shown. Again nothing fair here to see. |

I agree. It would be poetic justice if both Austin and Jenna leave tomorrow night. Janice and Bobby will get my vote.
Hope you are well love. x |

Good for him for not taking it anymore. It baffles me to think why people are blaming James. So what if he nominated his friend. Austin wasn't much of a friend to James when him and Jenna were having a go at him the last few nights. So its OK for Austin to backstabb with Jenna but when James nominates him he takes it so badly that he lashes out at a women by saying she is a bad mother and a whore. Disgusting behaviour I hope Austin goes tomorrow. |

Game / contest - same thing really. Anyway, me thinks we'll have to agree to differ. And since I don't believe James' actions to be back stabbing anyway it's pretty much a mute point.
