Yeah they attacked/tried to capture him once before, I have a feeling it may have been the same episode he ran into Daryl. He managed to see them all off with his staff.

Yeah, I think they were different, but similar looking. A lot of the Alexandrian's are similar to me at the moment, obviously because they are background characters but I got the new doctor and the woman in the armory confused at one point, wondering how she was in two places at once

Yes I thought the Doc and the woman in the armory were the same person at first.

Very strong episode but where the hell is Rick's group? If Morgan got back so fast having only left the group moments before the horn started, how come it took them so long when surely they'd have been running back to help.

Morgan wasn't worried about the other walkers, but Rick and Co are so they probably took longer to get back because they were trying to deal with them.

The beginning seemed to clear up any speculation that Enid is from the wolves. she was just managing to survive on her own. (poor turtle, I thought she was going to befriend it)

The armoury woman is going to think she imagined Carol - as yet she is the only alexandrian to have seen the kick ass side of Carol.

I'm going off Morgan a bit, telling Carol she didn't need to kill when the guy had just been chopping someone to pieces. Was he leaving at the end?

Does anyone other than Carol and Carl have a gun though? I thought the guns were all in the armoury, which is where she was heading.

I'm thinking that the turtle was a nod to the notorious Cannibal Holocaust movie.

They sent Morgan back before the herd got out of control to warn the town they had brought the plan forward

I suspect that Morgan is going to leave and follow the Wolves - they have to have a camp, a base of some kind. I don't think he's just leaving in a hissy fit.

ETA: It would be the logical thing to do, let some go, think they are safe, they head back to re-group. He follows them at a safe distance.

How does a tortoise (you say turtle) survive so long in the zombie apocalypse? If you asked me to name the animal with the worst chance of survival I think tortoise would be top of the list. And I think I'd be risking a fire too. Then again, I'd be have been dead by now so.....

Good episode. Last week I was getting premonitions that Abraham's time was running short. This week I thought Morgan was in trouble.

I would definitely have stuck a knife in the brain of the one who died in the makeshift hospital too. Don't trust the new doctor to be up to the job. Wouldn't be surprised if the next episode opens with problems there.

A tortoise could stand still and be mistaken for a paving stone, they don't really eat much either. Plus it might have spent some time in hibernation.

Speaking of staying still, do the walkers not notice people unless they're running or making some commotion, it seems to be a bit inconsistent as to whether they do or not.

I've stopped applying rules to walkers now because their behaviour has been pretty inconsistent over the years. They used to be able to open doors, but they don't seem to anymore.

At other times they appear to wander impassively when not near living people, whereas other times they're hammering down doors despite there being no sound on the other side (see Fear The Walking Dead for an example of this).

Not to mention the fact surely a lot of them would have simply starved to death by now.

"The following programme contains scenes of strong violence and horror"
shot of Carol cooking in the kitchen! LOL!

It's obvious something traumatic happened to Morgan from whence we saw him last.
I imagine he probably took a life he felt he shouldn't have. Now he's a pacifist and a liability.

Carol does what needs to be done and doesn't flinch while doing it. The speed at which she was able to handle the crisis and devise a course of action, was inspiring. Her pragmatism is a lesson to us all.

One question still bothers me. Why are the wolves hoarding the undead?

This show is so frustrating sometimes but episodes like this make up for it.

That celery soup with paprika didn't sound too great but I didn't think it merited a warning.

Episode wise that is how they should have opened this season.

Pete took a Japanese katana from a house he had to break into to do that. He didn't take for the good of anyone's health. He took it to attack someone with and as he was advancing on and raving at Rick it doesn't take a genius to figure out who he wanted to attack. But of course that won't count in your eyes, never mind the fact that he attacked and injured his wife and children.

How did the walker crash the truck into Alexandria?

Wow, there's some crazy reasoning for you,
"Let this abusive husband, father and murderer live. He might be useful to us if he stays sober long enough."

just reading back what the US pace watchers wrote.......it seems that the girl Enid who was with Carl had been in town before and Carl had seen her sneaking out

The US pace guys don't appear to have picked up on the photos though.....

Someone had taken photos of the defences and given them to the Wolves

Enid is my number one suspect at the moment......
