Yeah I loved the finale, the whistling and negan picking his victim gave me chills but the fact it's a cliffhanger is some what disappointing.

Good episode. Didn't need the extension.
JDM was great as Negan. The final scene was intense. I'd read it was a cliffhanger I hoped it wouldn't be. Knowing who got Lucille'd would have made it amazing. Talking Dead feels a little dead because they've ruined what was the most anticipated arrival |

Meh, wasn't worth the wait IMO.
They should have just brought Negan into the show half way through the 2nd half of the season and got on with it. Now we've got a season of him being nasty for nasty's sake and probably few walker deaths. Carol should really have not appeared again after she disappeared. |

Well this Negan seems a reasonable fella.
![]() Considering Rick and the crew decided to go on a murder spree for some hilltop hippies they'd only just met I actually felt a complete lack of sympathy with their predicament. Who else thought it was Freddie Mercury when he finally stepped out the RV?

I usually defend the show but leaving it on a cliffhanger was a dick move, people would have tuned in to season 7 regardless of who was killed.

It's obviously the gay guy (can't remember his name, sorry) that was smashed up. That's why they didn't show it. If they had it would have left everyone saying "So what?" or "Who cares?"
As it stands more people will be saying "I really hope it wasn't Daryl!" or "Please don't let it be Sasha." Good to see Trevor. Hope he remains a regular. |

I've not watched it yet but have read what happens. I had listened to the audio and was aware of the spoilers saying it ended on a cliffhanger. I am aware of how the storyline goes in the comics too. I'd kept going back and forth between thinking it would be comic book person, and thinking it would be someone else. The fact it's ended on a stupid cliffhanger like this now makes me confident it won't be the person it is in the comics.
There's a lot of people who know who it is in the comics, and I imagine a lot of people who don't know will find out who it is before season seven starts, so to come back next season and have an anti-climax of it being the person we know it is in the comics would be utterly pointless. I think a far better cliffhanger would have been ending on an aerial shot so we saw who it was, but then were left till October with the shock of it and not knowing the aftermath of it all. |

What's the betting when the show returns we get 3 episodes of Negan's backstory before actually finding out who he killed?

I think that ending was a mistake. The build up of tension was incredible and i think they planned on having us yelling and jumping and hyper when we didn't find out. I felt let down instead.

It was always going to be a cliffhanger come on people ....
I loved it, and we are now in that wishing the next 6 months away malarkey !! Surely I should have learned to handle this by now

A definite mistake I think. It's not going to be months of "who is it?!" as we've already had weeks of that leading up (those who knew it was going to end with a death, anyway).
Also, if that's the only death in the episode, another mistake. I was expecting a hero's death for one character

Hugely tense episode, rather silly with the Saviours cat and mouse game and more characters abandoning the fort as it were, but at least there's the promise of the new gang Morgan bumped into. BTW I've used spoilers for my failed guesses so no one can grumble that I've given away who doesn't die. There's always one! |

Well, that was a huge anti-climax. Half way through I was thinking that something better happen soon, or else nothing was going to happen at all.
I actually could see Negan's point, and was on his side in the end. The Governor, Negan, Rick, what's the difference now? We know that Rick and Coral are still alive because of the "feed his eyes" line. I guess one of the less well known Alexandrians was whacked (Aaron?) and the rest kept alive to work for Negan. Until that is Carol, Morgan and their new horse riding buddies come to save the day. Either way I'm done with the regular watching and will stick to just catching up when I can. |

I do not know what happens
Just getting it out of the way first and not wanting to use spoiler tags as it isn't! My take is that Maggie having cut her hair, is now losing all her strength (Samson) and is clearly having a miscarriage, or worse (a life threatening haemorrhage maybe) - her other strength i.e the death dodging Glenn, is the one who will finally die. |

This is 2016, can we please stop with the stupid cliffhangers?
I understand the need to be innovative in the eighties when JR was shot. Back then, there was no internet, and so fewer channels and choices. But this is no longer. We have access to almost everything, and our attention span is getting more limited. |

That was more 'National Lampoon's zombie vacation' in parts rather than the walking dead.
Very tense in parts too, the whistling was very creepy (especially when none of the saviours seemed to actually be whistling) I spent the episode wondering why they didn't take more care of where they were going - scout ahead and stop talking when you're wandering through woods why don't you?! Also they should have taken out the first lot they encountered, there were only 6 or so of them - decide which each of them shoots and a code word before they get out of the rv. Better not be trainee serial killer that gets beaten, having locked Enid in a cupboard. Dumbass. Really thought they were going to dump Maggie and run at one point. I don't mind it being a cliffhanger though, I expected it so wasn't a shocker, |

I've never watched something and been so tense in my life......well champions league final in 99 and the pen shoot out against Chelsea comes close.
Brilliant episode, can't wait for little spoilers here made there whilst season 7 is being filmed |

The guys in the armour, one of them on a horse, my son reckoned they were from Hilltop, but I don't recall seeing them before.

Hahah they really did it, they ruined their own Red Wedding episode.
On the plus side those larp nerds who Morgan and Carol ran into look like they're going to be hilarious (I assume that's the intended reaction to them). |

Seeing Rick so scared actually made me tear up a little bit.
I wonder how they will get out of this hole they are in? Carol is nackard now so won't go saving anyone. the two armoured guys (can we name where they are from) won't go saving them either......well not yet anyway.

This show is just blatantly disrespecting the audience at this point. This season with its multiple dumb, misleading cliffhangers have pretty much put me off entirely. Why they feel the need to keep doing it is beyond me.. the show has become a joke and I doubt I'll be back for the next season.
I no longer care who dies. |
