No idea if it's related, but there was an episode last series where Ron (?) was marking red A's on peoples' hands. I can't recall if it was ever established why, but it led to some interesting theories here.

The new doctor said she was a psychiatrist. In my country, one has to first quallify as a doctor, and then they are able to start their education to be a psychiatrist.
But she said she just went to medical school, not that she graduated.

I am a midwife, and I had to be a fully trained nurse before I could start my education to become a midwife.

I just assumed this was a rule for every western country.
