Could still be Enid I think as they show us her with family, their demise, then her on her own. She could easily have ran into the Wolves at that point and been scared into trying to infiltrate the town. Heath would be a twist though. Hard to think of anyone else who has been directly out of town. Aaron...but can't see it. Maybe one of the other kids but hard to see the motivation. Enid seems the safest bet to me.

One thing I didn't understand was the bit with Aaron finding the bag with the photographs. I assumed at the time this was Eric's bag and this signalled that the Wolf had killed him and taken his stuff....but then Eric was in the hospital I think. So what was that bit all about? Did he just randomly find his own bag and that was him thinking about how dangerous it was to be so welcoming?

To be honest I need to rewatch the episode as I miss a lot first time around.

No, I was thinking of the photos.......that someone had been taking photos of the defences and smuggling them out to the Wolves.......then saw someone else post that Carl had seen Enid sneaking out in an earlier episode so i put 2 and 2 together.....

I'd forgotten about Aaron having photos.......in fact I still don't remember it

I'm a bit confused about the Enid/JSS timeline

If she was in town last series then presumably the first section of tonights show was a flashback .........but that wasn't clear to me whilst watching

One other thing I picked up on........when Morgan was running those Wolves out of town he told them they would end up dead if they chose this lifestyle

One of them said 'we don't have a choice' or something like that........presumably that was more than a throwaway comment

Maybe they've been "thrown" out of their territory by another. tougher gang (whose leader has a name that begins with "N")


IF Morgan did let the Wolves leader live then I have a feeling that Rick could very well go all Gitmo on him (Wolfie that is)

Top episode. Thought they were going to draw it out with filler at Alexandria then bam, machete to the head of the smoker and it all kicks off.

Not sure why they did the JSS backstory at he start, maybe misdirection to make us think Enid was a spy. Obvious she isn't. No W for a start, and then did nothing but want to protect Carl when she had the knife and opportunity to join in the killing.

Thought the photos Aaron found in his rucksack meant his partner was dead but remembered Aaron left the rucksack and photos when he and daryl were rescued from the walker trap by Morgan last season and the wolves found it and were made aware of alexandrias existence. So been waiting for them to turn up since.

Got the impression Morgan is leaving. He had some bag in his hand but not much in it, maybe a packed lunch. Hope he's going after the rest of the wolves and not just pussying out. Got enough of that with the vicar.

Funny the wolves bringing knives to a gunfight. Would have been so funny if as soon as they jumped the fence they were offed by Carl with the rifle while guy in the tower was busy looking for a bigger barn door.

Will be interesting to see more of Enid's backstory, I'm sure we haven't seen it all, Interesting to know what she meant when she said to Carl that Alexandria had too many blind spots, and implied that she and perhaps others had been watching the going on there.

Thought it was a good episode, but both Carol and Morgan really wound me up.

She's been sneaking in and out unseen for quite a while I think.

So you think she was just talking about her and Carl sneaking in and out?

Her actions both in the prologue here and in previous episodes have made her look suspicious but there are innocent explanations for her actions as well.


Take her reluctance to enter Alexandria in the prologue.

She could be on a mission for the Wolves (or even someone else) to infiltrate Alexandria and betray them but almost gives up on it and turns around. In the end however she decides her best chance of survival is to go ahead with the mission.

Alternatively her reluctance is just down to joining a large group after being on her own for so long. For a moment she feels her best chance at survival is to stay on her own but finally decides it's with a large group.



As I said in a previous post I don't think the Timelines match up. She has been at Alexandria for weeks (if not months) yet other things (such as the Wolves having the photo's) imply the Wolves have only become aware of the place more recently.

Of course it could well turn out that she is working for yet another group but I think that is unlikely.

One of the best episodes ever

Suzy Homemaker becomes a much more vicious wolf than any of the invading puppies. She's fantastic.

Morgan: "You don't have to kill people"

Carol: "Yes, you do"

While zen bollocks Morgan was wasting time, tying up one of the pups, instead of trying to save Alexandrians, Carol walks up and simply shoots the prisoner dead. Morgan is not my idea of a team player.

Good to see Jessie give her scissors a thorough work out on more than a haircut. She "gets it". Shame her son is as stupid as his dead dad, he needs to die soon, if he doesn't shape up.

It wouldn't surprise me if Morgan ended up getting shot by the boss wolf. After allowing him to leave, he picked up a gun on the way out.

I think three things have been established with this episode...

1) The Walking Dead doesn't need Rick, Daryl or Michonne or the rest of the fan favourites to provide us with a good episode.

2) Morgan knows some of the Wolves.

3) The girl at the beginning (and throughout) somehow is connected to them, even though we've nothing solid to speculate that on.

Was good to see Aaron again too, had wondered his whereabouts last episode. I must also confess (I've read this thread before making this reply) that I didn't catch on about the photos (being the ones Daryl and Aaron dropped). I assumed they were newly taken by that mysterious girl.


It's the same girl, and yeah, she was pretty much about to come clean to Coral. The odd thing is though, we saw her story, and there wasn't a single wolf in it, so at what point between her parents being eaten and her arriving in Alexandria did she meet (and become) a Wolf?

I would say Morgan left the group a good 30-60 minutes before the horn went off as Rick had already told him to go back to inform them of how things were going. The attack lasted precisely 45 minutes and Morgan got there at about 10 minutes in, when the horn went off, so the attack had another 30-35 minutes before it finished. Rick and the group will probably show up, at the most, 10 minutes after depending on how careful they are on the way back because of the Mega Herd.

No, the photos they had were the ones that Arron was using to show potential newbies to show how safe their town was. He dropped the back at the wolves den when Morgan rescued them and couldn't pick it up because of all the walkers. There is no spy.

I agree with some of those, but Lori was doing some serious head-screwing with Shane during his final episodes. Clear shunning of advances earlier, but during those final episodes I still question whether she deliberately set Rick/Shane up so Rick would kill him. I think the reason she acted so hostile to Rick after was guilt because she knew what she'd done. Having watched them god only knows how many times on repeat. Boo hoo or not, that's some very dodgy signals she's sending out on those episodes.

Literally only one of them was established in this episode. We already saw Morgan interact with the Wolves last season when they attacked him and he fought back, the one who recognised him was one of his prior attackers. The third point is not established at all, the fact that you say you have nothing solid to speculate on shows it is not an established point.

Shane DEFINITELY offered to sacrifice himself so Otis could make it back, Otis refused.

That whole 'they haven't got guns' was totally unrealistic

Why wouldn't they have guns ?

America is awash with guns and with most people dead there would be guns all over the place to pick up

a ruthless gang of desperados haven't got guns whilst Rick's mob have guns coming out of their ears...........

I have read this thread, and still dont understand. Is Eric dead?

We don't know because we didn't see him after the attack. The situation with him and the bag with photos is that it was his bag and he dropped it in the Wolves den so now he feels he is responsible for them attacking, that's why he looked so sad.
