The building was a burnt out greenhouse, so naturally all the glass would melt and reform. Here's my interpretation of what happens.

1) Thousands of walkers in the woods.

2) Survivors, including wimpy bloke and skinny girls decide to set fire to the woods to get rid of the walkers.

3) They don't realise that their pals are working planting crops in the greenhouse, or have gone there to live.

4) Pals (husband and wife) get trapped by the fire, and decide to lie down together and die peacefully by suffocation.

5) They die, the greenhouse glass melts and entombs them, so their brains don't get frazzled - remember we can still see their faces.

6) When people arrive, walkers wake up and WANT BRAINS!!!

7) Dozy bint diabetic girl breaks glass and gets ate.

No, remember Sasha says that Daryl is far more likely to find them than they were to find him, all they had to do was leave a couple of obvious clues.

He definitely said that. It kind of matches up with what the long-haired girl (Sherry I think her name was?), was wearing - that lingerie type top she was wearing seemed pretty inappropriate for surviving in the wilderness.

I kind of hope something bad happens to those two after Daryl saved them from their pursuers and offered them a chance, and then they just stole off of him.

That town Sasha and Abraham hid out in seemed pretty walker-free, although I'm at a loss as to how the soldier walker ended up impaled on that fence on the bridge. Still, at least Abraham snagged that RPG launcher. I did find it odd like someone else said, that he didn't even try to start that Humvee up though. I guess he might have and we just didn't see it.

I got the feeling that Abraham only went with Sasha in the first place because he thought they shared a bit of a death wish. Only problem was that Sasha had already resloved hers. This episode gave him the space to do the same.

Now he has the hots for her, only problem is Rosita.

Good episode for those two characters. Wonder who that group that keep insisting people kneel for them are. Can't be good.

Did anyone else notice Daryl's Cherokee Rose in this ep?

That's the white flower he gave to Carol way back when they were searching for her daughter, Sophia. There was one on the moss-covered walker he took down.

Apparently Reedus had said that a zombie would hark back to a Daryl/Carol moment in that episode.

I love the tiny little details like this that they have in the show.

Reedus is a bit of a nuisance though, isn't he? He seems to be constantly leaking little and big spoilers, and sometimes fake spoilers. Keeps the fans and the rest of the cast on their toes I suppose.

Was far from my favourite episode but it's not about it being slow as the Morgan episode was highly enjoyable however I do think the slowness can allow you to listen more and some of the conversations are bizarre. If they're not lecturing one another about how to survive and about they're particular philosophy they're mumbling, speaking in cliches and incomprehensible slang (well to me ) and leave most sentences / conversations unfinished. When Daryl explained about where he was from to the blond man why did he say nothing back You talk about leaving him hanging. It looks again and again like a drama that lacks any naturalness or normality in interactions which is incredibly jarring.

Anyway that aside unfortunately there were some scenarios that were even more nonsensical than the jarring conversations. When Daryl et al were cornered in the woods how did he manage to get them all away and hide everybody Also why did the blond man who proudly announced he'd killed no one and didn't intend to as that would change everything 2 minutes later threaten Daryl's life whilst taking everything from him after he'd shown nothing but humanity to them I get inhumanity but this bloke had just been despairing of how low people could get and suggesting he was a good person Why would Daryl be threatened anyway when the guy had just told him he couldn't kill anyone

There was just too many loose ends and unexplained actions and weird and lacking conversations for me but I loved episode 1, 2 and 3 so much I'll keep persevering.

Oh one thing I learned on Talking Dead was that Jessy (?) was the truck Daryl found. I did feel thick then as it did have Jessy (?) written on it. So I wonder who took it and hid it.

I did wonder why Daryl ddin't just say to the blond guy to go ahead and shoot then, but you never know he could have been lying about not having killed any people.

An episode like this does kind of make you wonder how Daryl Dixon has managed to survive in life, at all.

Actions, on the other hand, are telling. Daryl had shown his kindness and compassion, by returning the insulin, and later, by saving them from the lunatics.

While the other two had not showed any kindness toward Daryl, just words.

He survived because he was abused and beaten as a child and had a psycopath for a brother. That made Daryl cold and tough.
Later, when he met Rick and the others, he saw a group of people who respected him and trusted him, he softened up.

Carol, on the other hand, went the other way.

Hmm I suppose it was just very mixed messages. It appeared the blond guy was rough with Daryl because he thought he was one of their captors but the blond guy clearly had a compassionate side as they were helping the girl with diabetes. Later Daryl and him were digging a grave together and they'd had a conversation along the lines of the blond guy being pleasantly surprised Daryl had helped them despite the way he'd treated him and acknowledging Daryl wasn't a bad guy. Also the 'not having killed anyone' seemed genuine. I just don't see the point of pretending and if they wanted to survive what was the point of not taking Daryl's advice / assistance. It just jarred tbh

ETA I've been thinking about the blond guy keep saying to Daryl if he thought he was stupid or if he woukd be stupid not to kill him, then by his actions he ended up making Daryl look stupid. Maybe this was the point and maybe some significant learning curve and impact on Daryl. Surely he will show them no more compassion when / if they meet again

Even if the glass did melt and not shatter, it really wouldn't reform like that. It would be more drips and blobs randomly around the area below, not a perfect sheet moulded to them.

not necessarily, if a pane had fallen down on them after theyd died of funes inhalation, its possible it could have melted over them. after all this is a ZA world.

Whatever it was shattered like glass when Tina fell on top of them. Although the rest of the 'glass' in the green house looked like melted plastic.

I can't decide if it is him or not. I thought the voice sounded a bit too deep for Glenn.

I tried thinking about who it might be if not Glenn and I thought maybe it's Aaron? What if he went out looking for Glenn for Maggie and he found Glenn's walkie talkie (and perhaps Glenn as well) and is now stuck somewhere because of the herd of walkers.

I think we are supposed to assume that both parties could not actually see each other through the trees, and also that the truck could not get any further in and had to stop.
Put it down to poor editing.



The name on the truck and the factory place they were looking at was Pattrick something. The owner was probably known as Patty to them. Was Patty the walker in the truck Daryl found or was it the walker with the helmet?

There are lots of words I'd use to describe Norman- nuisance isn't one that immediately springs to mind though

I am sexist and misogynist, because it irritates me slightly that Sasha is driving instead of Abraham..
Not so much that she is driving, but how come Abraham doesn't seem to care?

It was Sasha's misssion, Abraham just decided to tag along. Abrarham is oviously more secure in his manhood than some.

Haha, I have no problems with women, like myself, telling men what to do. Where did tha come from?
It is just that in real life, when there is a a man and a woman in a car, the man usually drives.

My husband is the one who take care of our cars, since he knows I hate it. And I take care of all the money and the bills, since I know that he hates it.

Maybe it is different here in Norway? Here, even though equally many men and women have driving license, the man usually drive when they are together in one car.
