I will hereafter post spoilers in the other thread.

Regarding the Morgan thing. It really is nothing.
I would never post a spoiler, tagged or not, naming someone being hurt or killed.

I look forward to watch Andrew Lincoln's wonderful scenes in Love Actually this christmas.
I started watching WD this spring, so this will be the first time I see the movie after that.

I dont think he is a very good actor in WD, but he is amazing in LA.

I find it slighly odd that no one is coming to the gates, asking for shelter.
Wouldn't there be cars and people driving and walking around?

Or is Alexandria so remote from every road or community?

But the lack of living people (when they dont have a storyline) have been my small problem with this since series one.

I know the actress is very good, so I wonder why Carol is not interacting at all with Judith. She is carrying her around, and never looks at her or smiles at her. Carol is pretty screwed up, after losing her daughter, and then seeing her as a walker. But I dont know if the writers are thinking this.

Judith looks like she did in season four, which is ridiculous. But maybe, since no one plays with her or talks to her, she has stopped growing. She should be running around. I know it is difficult with toddlers and filming, hence she should have been killed off.

Hopefully Maggie's baby will die too. Fictional babies have no feelings.

It has been about 50 days since the middle of season 4, she has changed enough for it to be accurate.

The walker to human ratio is 5000 to 1, maybe there just isn't many humans left.

Isn't it extremely bizarre the way the walls are built? Why would the supports be on the OUTSIDE of the wall??

A) How would you have even built it without getting attacked by zombies
B) WHY in gods name would you make it like that and
C) It'd be pretty easy for a group of guys to knock that thing down.

That may be, but looking at Carl, everyone can see it has been more than 50 days. So one of the childrens ages are wrong.

I have two teenage sons, 15 (186 cm) and 17 (172 cm) and I know they grow fast, but not like Carl has done in 50 days.

And if they have been only two weeks in Alexandria, it is unrealistic that everyone lets Rick lead them.

Hm, ok, I did not know that. They all seem pretty much done for, then.

The problem is they either write Carl of the show or just ignore his growth. With Judith all they need to do is swap babies when one is too big. Your quibble is very pedantic.

They let Rick lead because they realised how weak they were when it comes to dealing with the world. If Rick and co hadn't have come along Alexandria would be in ruins already because the walkers from the quarry would have broken out and all made their way there.

They certainly are done for.

They have only killed around 1500 walkers in the whole 6 seasons lol.

I doubt it, if they want it to be special it needs to be in the final few minutes of the season, leaving people waiting for a while to see what happens after.

It will probably be
Spoiler

Urgh...looks like I'm avoiding this topic from now on. For the same reasons I ignore the DS frontpage. Look, it may not be a direct spoiler but "saying watch out this specific character something big happens" especially in context of a detailed post...it's easy to add stuff together. Like DS's headlines that don't state spoilers, but if you watch the show and put the hints in the context of the character/current arc you can pretty much put the hints together and realize what happens. DS have ruined so many episodes of shows for me this way.

I just watched the mid season finale soooooooo

It was a good episode, not the best. They just foreshadowed so much at the end for comic book readers, I felt like it was just one big tease

Also the close up of Jessie's gun makes me think Ron is going to get a hold of it again and much as I didn't like Deanna, I really enjoyed her scenes with Michonne

It was a good episode but a disappointing midseason finale. I really expected more.

Hmm, there's three of us, two have guns. There's one of him, with only a knife. Let's put down our guns and allow him to dictate the rules.

Stupid.

Morgan and Carol beating each other to death.

Stupid.

Rick leaving a new born baby, on its own, within reach of someone who is going to turn.

Jesus Christ.

Why are all the kids in this show so unbearably ignorant? Mom! Mom! Mom! SHUT UP!

This is the post credit scene if you haven't seen it. For some odd reason AMC decided to broadcast it in the ad break of a different show.

You need to stop watching the show .

Firstly, he had a knife to someones throat, none of them were skilled enough marksmen to make the shot without risking her life.

Rick didn't leave the baby with her, he left her in a different room that she got up from and went to where Judith was. Plus the only reason Judith was left is because all the walkers started breaking in and everyone rushed down to help.

He kept saying mom because he was bloody terrified.

I've never seen someone moan about so much stuff that is so obvious as to why. You should go watch my little pony instead, that seems more your style.

Haha! Brilliant. Of course there are explanations for the stupidity but it doesn't excuse it.

A knife to the throat takes a hell of a lot longer than a bullet to the head, and don't give me this "not a marksman" nonsense when we've seen just about every character shoot a zombie clean through the head over and over.

I never said Rick left the baby with her, I said he left the baby within reach of her, which was proved...

I know he was terrified. But again, that doesn't excuse the ignorance.

People love to defend every little thing about this show, I'm not entirely sure why. It is a very stupid show, I can live with that, I even quite enjoy the stupidity, but don't accuse others of not understanding, as if it's so sophisticated some people have such a hard task to grasp what's happening.

Ok, so they shoot him in the head, a human target with a hostage. Unless they hit a very specific spot his arm will pull back or down as he drops, slicing her throat. Shooting something you already know to be dead is different than shooting a live human.

And there was a very good explanation for it, walkers breaking in the house necessitated everyone going down to defend. If that incident didn't happen then someone will have been upstairs already.

You can't just hide cowardice. The boy is so scared of everything he locked himself away in his room. If any thing was stupid it was them believing he could make it without pissing himself.

I'm not trying to excuse stupid things, it's why I never countered the morgan and carol situation because I believe that was stupid. All I am doing is explaining them because you are clearly not understanding. If you were you wouldn't think the points I mentioned were so stupid, if anything they are all logical things that would happen if the situations were real.

I'm not having this. You shoot someone in the head and the drop down dead, they wouldn't jerk their arm in a slicing motion. At the very worst she gets a little cut, nothing more.

And what's the alternative? Have her leave and get killed by either the man or the zombies anyway? No, you would take the risk. Her chance of dying rises exponentially by allowing him to walk away with her as a hostage.

My motives were for sharing, in case anyone was interested.
Had to avoid this thread due to the spoilers.

If you're sharing because you thought some might be interested a new thread could have been created. It's annoying that a no spoiler thread is ruined. I quite like the debate in between episodes which I couldn't do.
