Shame that we will not be getting it on St Valentines' Day, like the Americans will. Wonder if they will have a little light comedy romantic subplot as they sometimes have in ER or Desperate Housewives. Perhaps Abraham could blushingly offer to help Sasha build a funeral pyre for a heap of zombie corpses, or Rick could get the Doctor's wife some special herb shampoo to wash her annoying bratty son's blood out of her hair after he has been devoured by the zombie horde for whining so much. I'm sure the writers will think of something.

Thanks just remembered the cliffhanger "Mom Mom Mom"

I have it on NowTV so will be unaffected.

I'm in the middle of two weeks off so am rewatching from season 1. Am now towards the end of season 3. It's been great to see it all again.
Croctacus or anyone else who might know.

I only got the Now TV box on the weekend, how long after broadcast is it before these shows are available on demand, I'm not one for watching with adverts?

Rewatching the first half of this season on Now tv. Please can someone explain to thickie me, why Daryl went off on his m/bike when they were leading the walkers, and then went back? I've watched it twice and still haven't twigged why he did it.

IIRC Rick was in trouble and Daryl broke away from his part of the mission to go and help him.

He later changed his mind and went back to the mission knowing that was more important than one individual even if that was Rick.

I know, it seems a long break this time for some reason, even though I'm re-watching the first half.

I always used to watch it live Us time as someone always put a link on Twitter. Once I changed from a late to an early shift on a Monday I had to stop. I couldn't be watching at 2am and then be at work for 8am.

How far in advance are they in filming compared to what we see on screen?

Filming for Season 6 would have finished around November last year, episodes 9 - 16 have still to be aired.

Filming for Season 7 will start May 2016.

How do spoilers never leak out then? I know they film on actual 35mm film but with all the extras there as zombies and the editing being done on computer with digital files you would think tons of people have access to episodes and scripts stuff would leak out. Not that I want to read any spoilers but when you hear about mid season finale deaths or end of season deaths and what happens to who, that's a lot of people who do actually know......months in advance exactly what WILL happen. I suppose the same could be said for a lot of big US TV shows where reveals, deaths, plotlines are kept under wraps until the airdate. I just don't know how it's done. Over here it seems like all big TV shows especially soaps deliberately leak out spoilers to get people watching, very different in America

Filming spoilers do get out but unless it's something major they probably don't go much further than spoiler websites.

Last year when Glen was supposedly dead it was easy enough to find pictures of him filming the 2nd half of the season (he was on set with a character yet to appear on the show) though even then some people were claiming he was just visiting friends on set

Yeah...its a case of if you know where to look for them then you can be totally and utterly spoiled but unlike say G.O.T and Doctor Who there seems to be less of a culture of purposeful spoiling those that don't seek it for kicks or kudos with the Walking Dead...I might be wrong and that's just my skewed perception. But there are dedicated spoiler groups one of which is amazingly detailed and accurate- not just spoilers but full episode summaries prior to broadcast- and its fine because everyone who joins the group knows what theyre getting into it for.

Not long to wait now. Seems like ages since 6.8!
