I am so glad they did it the way it was in the comics and when Carl said Dad and looked up to reveal his eye had been shot I jumped out of my seat clapping. The beginning where Darryl blew the guys up with the launcher was awesome.

Definitely one of the best episodes.

Cracking episode !

The Carl scene reminded me of Mr.Chicken in Breaking Bad when he turned after half his face was blown off.

Can someone really survive a shot like that? Was the bullet supposed to have just clipped his eye?

Glen, how many times they gonna kill him off but not kill him off, he was cornered, I was expecting him to creep under a hole in the wall

They explained on the Talking Dead about the gun shot:
Spoiler
They said the bullet ricocheted out whilst blowing bone fragments back into his eye so the damage was all just in that small area.

I cheered when I saw his eye. Not because i was happy but because it followed the comic

Total punch the air moment, even though I'd guessed it was going to be the way they got out of that particular predicament!

Yeah, it was on of my most anticipated moments for the show so i'm glad they followed through and did it.

Awesome ep. It barely stopped once Daryl had blown up the biker clowns.

Very good episode. Though I'm getting a little sick and tired of Glenn coming so close to death only to predictably survive.

We get it. He's invincible. Stop showing that fact every single episode.

Excellent episode, one issue with it though - it sure got dark quick!

Nice to see it following the comic re Carl's eye, was hoping to see began in this episode, the bit at the beginning didn't go as i expected!

Finally stopped sitting on their thumbs. Rocket launcher starter was great, was about to start yawning at an 'oh no another hostages scenario'. Never slowed down from there! Thank god the annoying family/romantic BS died! I'd rate that episode at an easy 17 decapitated skulls out of a burning pond.

Bah, filler episode and not enough of a body count...

...Is what I'm expecting someone to come along and say. Not me though! Couldn't see how Daryl & Co were going to escape but had forgotten the rocket launcher. It just kept the pace up from the first minute and never flagged. Even the wolf redeemed himself a little.

So happy to get rid of that awful Jessie.
And very happy that they finally showed a child being eaten.
I liked him, and felt sorry for him, but he is better dead.

We are adults, we know that it is not real, and we can take it.

Judith next!

I watched without subtitles on. How did Daryl kill the first guy?

I can't see how anyone could dislike this episode, but this is DS and someone will be along later complaining, probably about Glenn escaping or Enid helping or it's too unrealistic or how can you set a lake on fire or how did Carl survive or...

Wasn't shown, Daryl was stabbed though.

Michonne took care of him as he was about to shoot Carl.

I agree with you, it was an amazing episode.
However, I am fully aware that others may find it not so.
And that is fine too.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Indeed, I couldn't agree more.

I'm really not a fan of the 'well somebody is going to say this, that or the other so I'll be a pessimist and have a go just in case somebody does' kind of post Discuss what people do say, not what you imagine somebody may say in a while.
