Great episode, possibly my favourite ever. An epic battle with them finally coming out on top.

In many ways it almost felt like a 'story reset' episode.

Was waiting for that RPG, still made me jump though.

A candidate for best episode ever I think, must say I found that wolf bloke interesting, shame he was killed off so soon. His character could have had some mileage in the show.

Great episode! It really came back with a bang, which I suppose explains why the midseason finale was a bit lacklustre compared to some of the previous ones.

My only criticism (albeit a small one) is how the zombies instantly know a human is a human the second they make a noise, despite the fact they still don't smell alive. I know looking for logic among a non-real situation is a bit silly it just makes me smile a bit.

That said, I was glad Jessie and co went. It seemed like a high body count, but I was pretty sure they'd wanna get rid of those characters as they weren't particularly likeable and the cast needed thinning out a little!

I actually would have laughed if Glenn had died when it looked like he was going to. Not because I want him to die, but because we went through that "is he dead/isn't he dead" stage a while back, only to find out he's not, then find out he is! I actually thought they might do that as a "no one is safe" warning. (Well, apart from Rick.)

Utterly brilliant episode and so good to have it back.

Can't believe the karls eye happened the way it did. Was expecting them to have some major bad guy do it expecially after the mid season finale "young guy tough guy" fight off thing we had.

Can not wait for episode 10. So so excited.

One more thing, I had to download the ep and not sure if I got a dodgy download or not but did the episode end when Karl closed his hand on ricks and rick looked up? If not what else did I miss?

That was a great episode. Reminded me a bit of Z Nation, what with the rocket launcher at the start, the annoying family getting offed in one fell swoop, Abraham with a last minute save and one liner... this show is so much better when it embraces the cheesiness.

edit: oh and they finally just SET THEM ALL ON FIRE!

I felt the same about the leader of the bikers Daryl killed

I cheered when I saw his eye. Not because i was happy but because it followed the comic
I cheered as thought he had it.

Great episode

Yeah, good episode

agree with someone above though how it was strange that it suddenly went dark as though the hand-holders were walking for hours.

And it's been so long since it was on that I couldn't remember who half the people were.......

Incredible episode. I thought Glenn was finished, Abraham and Sasha turning up like that made me genuinely jump up and cheer. Loved it.

I was super pleased they almost mirrored the comic frame with Carl. Just over halfway through comic book pace now!

Sam was expecting that, but his mum was a shock!.. Bye bye Carl's eye. Morgan and Gabriel finally take up arms.
