It doesn't appear to relate to tonight's episode at all........

Very happy to see the annoying psychiatrist gone, and her death was delicious!
Hopefully they will find a real doctor who does not have panic attacks.

However, I don't trust the Survivour doc one bit.

Dwight and the two women captured Daryl. Then Daryl managed to get away after one of the women was eaten.
Then the two took his bike and bow and rode off.

I don't think Dwight hates Daryl because he has absolutely no reason to. I think Dwight is just behaving that way because of who he is with. Like, putting on a show for the rest of the group to show how tough he is or that he's really part of their gang, to build trust.

When Daryl first ran into Dwight, it was obvious he and the two girls who were with him were trying to get away from someone; Negan, The Survivors. They were either recaptured by The Survivors or something else forced them to make the decision to return to the group. It looks like Dwight has been burned or something (accident or punishment for leaving the group in the first place?)

Hopefully there will at least be one major* death, since there hasn't been one since Hershel died.



*Who has been in at least two series, and who is also generally well liked. The latter rules out Beth. I adored Andrea, but many hated her, so she was also not generally well liked.

Are you kidding? a) She is a great actress and b) how fecked are they now without her medical skills. In answer to the question, the guy said he missed. He looked pretty stupid (very ding dang cartoon stoopid) but that doesn't mean anything. Maybe he was actually really smart and deliberately killed the one person who made the group viable - medical knowledge.

Also, about those medical skills. Remember when she had no idea what she was doing, and then all of a sudden became really knowledgeable, just out of nowhere. Ridiculous character from the very beginning.

They managed this far without medical knowledge. I'm sure they'll magically come across a doctor in a few weeks.

He wouldn't have known that Denise had any medical knowledge. So maybe he was just plain stupid.

i thought denise had the potential to be a really interesting character. and anyone who has seen nurse jackie will know what a great actress merritt wever is.

Man, I'm gutted. I really liked Denise. I loved her growing friendship with Darryl and was looking forward to learning even more about her, then boom. I liked the tribute to her on The Talking Dead.

Eugene and Abraham

I was disappointed Denise went, I think a major character dying before the final would have really set up the final even more. At this rate it will be Aaron that gets Lucille'd.

So Negan's group have found and are monitoring Alexandria. Governor and the prison story again? Though if Dwight says they need help getting inside then at least they don't have a tank or explosives.

Dwight hit the 'doc' by accident. Hope he was aiming for Daryl otherwise they don't know a quality asset when they see one if he was aiming for Rosita. Not sure why she told them her name. At least him asking shows he does recognise her value in time of women shortages.

Carol leaving again. Hope this time it's not same story as Terminus. Either she just disappears or goes deep undercover with the Saviours by letting them find her well away from Alexandria/Hilltop. Anyone who has met her from the Saviours is now dead I think so her cover wouldn't get blown straight away.

How many episodes left this season?

I don't understand why they kept repeating that scene at the very beginning (before the credits rolled), where the Father kept walking around with his rifle and Carol sitting on the swinging chair???

It feels like the show's in a no-win situation a little regarding shooting - whenever the characters have no problem making headshots and so on, it gets called out as being unrealistic, but when they don't hit something, they get criticised for that too.

It feels like the show's been pretty consistent though in that the characters seem to have more trouble hitting living targets than the slower-moving walkers that aren't able to dodge or take cover.


I blame Morgan too. F***ing Morgan! Carol was such a badass before he came along and started making her doubt herself. If they kill off Carol, I'm not saying I'd stop watching the show, but I'd definitely enjoy it less. At this point, I'd be happy if they put Morgan in that cell he built and threw away the key.

I was sorry to see Denise get killed off, as I thought she was an interesting character, and one of the more interesting Alexandrians (and most of the other interesting ones have either been killed, or are barely seen - we hardly ever see Aaron now for instance). It was pretty stupid letting their only medic go on a run, and now they'll probably be more dependent on Hilltop, as they have a doctor.

I enjoyed the Eugene and Abraham banter through, and glad Rosita got to do something.

Darryl so has to kill Dwight after what he did to Denise (and using Darryl's own crossbow no less - there seems to be a bit of tradition of others taking the main characters' signature weapons and using them against one of their own, like when the Governor used Michonne's sword to kill Hershel).
