Perhaps FTWD will address what is happening about a cure. I always think the best place to go is an island which can be easily defended or have your backs to the sea. This is where the comics come into it because they are more for killings and gore than anything related to reality. The show follows them in this respect.

I've never heard of that saying and it doesn't really make sense. There are babies all over TV shows and not only are they not destroyed but it would odd verging on weird if TV shows didn't have babies.

I think Judith is essential on TWD as some sort of symbol that there just may well be a future. I also love the idea of a baby surviving a zombie apocalypse

They would have gone to Alexendria with Carol prisoner, but what some seem to have missed is...they'd already been there on a scouting mission since they had info, specific info. They were on their way back to base and stopped for some reason. I get the feeling they set off not long before Carol set off.

While it was established that they know of Alexandria that particular group were travelling towards Alexandria when Carol met them, not going home to their base.

I have to assume they are using small patrols to gain intelligence and pick up stragglers like Carol. If that group had been going to Alexandria, perhaps it was just to negotiate. Still, having acquired her, it'd be better to hold her and get information from her, and only later use her as a hostage. It's what the other group seem to be doing with Michonne and Maggie.

I was a bit annoyed by how they underestimated Carol. They've had the biker group exploded, the satellite station wiped out, their back-up also wiped out, and their back-up's back-up wiped out too, and Dwight sent packing by Daryl. They've been beaten numerous times. They should not be so cocky.

I found myself wanting to shout at the TV screen through most of it.

Again all the decent survivalists leave Alexandria but this time its worse as theyre in smaller groups.

A casual chat ended up in a death last week so what did you think would happen when Glen and Michonne had a chat in the woods.

No, that is just my theory. I have not read the comics. Dont know if it is explained there at all. I cant see any other way for humanity to continue. Unless they find a cure.
But no, I think I will go for the babies are immune theory.

I am throwing a big side eye towards Enid now. She has, for unknown reasons, been out on her own many times.
Maybe she was captured by some evil people, and sent to Alexandria to spy and make hole in the fence, poison food or anything.

Also I went and rewatched the episode looking for Easter eggs, and saw something I missed before (because I made the mistake of watching with relatives who never shut up ) didn't the handgun Carl picked up look like it had a baseball bat with barbed wire wrapped loosely around it??

Yes, I actually wound it back and paused it because at a quick glance it looked like it could've been a flower or something. But yes, it certainly looked like a baseball bat with barbed wire around it. Where did it come from? And why haven't there been other comments on here about it??

I assumed it was amongst the weapons the took from the Saviour's base? Rick's group would have cleaned out the place, taking any food and weapons they could find.

The handgun that Carl took from the Alexandria armoury was probably one recovered from the satellite station armoury as they had plenty of change to clean it out. Carl looked at the bat logo as if to wonder about it so not something that was at Alexandria until recently.

That's why I'm losing faith in the show. Once upon a time it was nice people v millions of zombies, now it's the 6 remaining nice people in the world v 2,000,000 bad guys. It's boring.

What worries me is that using human bad guys is always going to be cheaper for the show as a tv show than having zombie enemies.

Personally I don't like all these human enemies as it stops the show being about the walkers.

Yeah but, Rick's group would have noticed a pony on the way home and stopped to pet it whilst parking their truck on the edge of a cliff, leaving the handbrake off

The zombies are largely relegated to big set pieces (the horde) or as stealth killers when they want to bump off someone 'out of the blue'.

It does get a bit tiring if they go down the road of most people are untrustworthy and it's all about who strikes first. Hopefully as with the hilltop and jesus guy they will show that there is more to it than one group versus another otherwise it gets a bit one dimensional.

I wonder how the wild west got to grips with a similar level or lawlessness and fighting over resources. Logically the show should go the same route, with an end game of them building a new civilisation and getting a handle on a cure, or systems in place to negate the danger like humans do with wild animals in places they haven't been hunted to extinction.

Why would there be other comments about it, as far as I am aware, it is just a mark, maybe to signify who owned it or something, who knows, I do not know what it means.

I thought the whole group called themselves Negan, or is this yet another spoiler?
