I can fully understand James' reasons
For nominating Jenna and Austen. The both do constantly demand his (and others) reasons for decisions they make. It's bog all to do with them. Nobody in that house is answerable to them.

James only licks up to the ones he things are in the running to win, i.e. Janice. He's probably thought Austin made him look good for the pink vote, maybe thought Austin was in for the win at the beginning - who knows. He's the ultimate player in there.

But why does James repeat the lie about saving Janice "for Chloe", when 30 seconds later Chloe was going to save Janice anyway?

What he did was indefensible as far as I'm concerned.

I can understand why as well. Austin has been unpleasant to most of the h/m including James, more so in the last week.
When I heard James had nominated Austin I thought his chance at winning was gone but I have found myself liking James more tonight and his edit has not been as bad as it could have been. edit : having just watched Austin with Janice in the bedroom, James is definitely right, Austin is a b******. |

I actually feel a bit sorry for Austin - he's clearly quite messed up to throw so much vitriol at people. |

I'd nominate them, they are revolting. Quote:

Why do people use these childish and disgusting terms Anyway, your point isn't very well thought out or made and I think you're very much talking rubbish. James is doing what he wants and he's keeping his cool. I don't have a special preference for him but he seems to be getting pilloried for nominating two awful people. |

If you find someone so unpleasant that you'd much rather kick them out than anyone else, why would you constantly hang around that person, sleep with them, and call them your friend? Makes no sense.
The whole "protecting Chloe" spiel is quite clearly bullshit too. |

That doesn't really make any sense as he saw from the public vote that Austin was in the top 4 and NOT Janice.
I thought it was v bad form him nomming Austin, although, I agree, Austin went off the wall with Janice tonight, but then he was had been hurt by James. Why James sticks up for Janice is beyond me - hence why he looks like a total player. |

If they're so revolting and awful people, why has he shared a bed with one of them for the past 3 weeks and 'acted' best buddies with him and the other, why didn't he break the link a few weeks ago - and let his 'true' feelings about them be shown. Obviously he wasn't expecting his noms to be played to them all. |

In fact I think your bias has made you untruthful to yourself and struggling to keep in context. Anyway, you carry on liking that sort of language and I will continue to see it as repugnant and ignorant |

The reason why James nominated Austin is not in question. It was valid and Austin accepts that
What this comes down is loyalty to your friends and many will feel you never do something like nominate a best friend for eviction no matter the good intentions. Austin made it clear he would never do that to James even if he had valid reasons James has spoken to Austin about his anger issues and did not need to nominate him but did so saying it is for his own benefit. Is that the case or was it just a nasty thing to do to your best friend That is the big issue about James nomination. We don't know what James real intention and people will make their judgement. My view is that was not done for Austin's benefit and it was calculated move by James others may disagree |

I also feel bad for Austin, I also think he has allowed Jenna to wind him up to such an extent that what happened happened. Jenna did the same with Farrah. I hope Austin watches the series back and sees for himself what he has been like and learns from it, hopefully he will see that James was good for him and Jenna not so much.

What i did wonder about tonight was, if James thinks Austin is his mate, why didn't he get up to comfort him when he came out of the diary room clearly upset.
That was just odd

Totally agree - I cannot understand why some people on here think that James doesn't have the freedom or the right to think, act, and vote as he sees fit, like all the other housemates. |
