I agree I think James has seen a side of Austin that he doesn't like and is just appeasing him by being his friend while stuck in the house with him...like he said "keep your friends close and your enemies closer". If I had such a foul mouth friend I would dump him/her asap, because people like that only bring drama and damage relationships you hold dear. Austin has serious issues
He doesn't need to appease him, nor pretend to be his friend. He could move to another bed, as Natasha pointed out. |

You talk about James right to be tactical and then justify his actions on a non tactical basis.
What are James's tactics may i ask? I don't understand the outrage on here every time James makes any decision. Personally, I don't think James has a tactic (or a game plan, if you like) as I said, I think the guy is genuine, but I seem to be in the minority here. But that's fine with me

He's put his desire to do Chloe a favour above a desire to stay loyal to a friend. Do you know why?

See, I don't see it as a backstab at all. They'd been having discussions about James being uncomfortable with Austin's behaviour for a while. Nothing James said in his nom hadn't been said to Austin's face.
A backstab for me would be James saying nothing to Austin's face, then nomming him. I don't really see who James would have nommed instead of Austin and Jenna as they are the ones starting arguments with him and being aggressive over Janice gate. |

It's probably the American character, I find it both childish and infantile, and which is why I have found the best way to treat them its to just void getting into an argument with them. I've also been to America and have noticed that America's are no good on their own and have to be in groups to function, and they can't really talk quietly.

Not really, usenet and You Tube have comments from all walks of life, and I've been to America and seen how they are on their home turf.

They really are. Both are absolute psychological bullies.
They are aggressive, they think it is acceptable to shout at people. They think it's ok to gang up on people. They don't listen, shout over the top of of people and are very emotionally immature. They lack basic emotional intelligence. They lack basic manners. They are both spoiled and nasty, nasty people. . TEAM USA! |

But why be so aggressive about it? James has tried to explain several times but they barely let him talk. James offered to have a quiet chat with Austin alone, but Austin refused. Jenna is constantly throwing insults behind his back, yet claims that she's been so loyal?
Not to mention, James has already explained his reasons about Janice gate a few times. They're just not listening. |

Yes. You're right. Jenna is just awful and Austin's behaviour is just reprehensible.
And the worst part is that neither of them can see it... |

Americans are no good on their own? What makes you say that? You almost certainly were welcomed into these groups you ridicule, in that Americans generally like British people (if only they knew how people like you take advantage of them)!
I never was in any groups when I was in America on holiday, but I saw that American's tend to socially congregate in groups, and don't generally go about solo.

Agree with you all, terrible pair, I thought Jenna would get better when Farah went, she has got worse.
As for Austin, his loudness, lack of respect, and aggression is just off the wall. |

Hasn't James been respectful to Janice all the way through? Hasn't he been telling Austin that he doesn't like the way he behaves/ speaks to others (including Janice)? As for Jenna being a friend of James's, well, not really. She was always Farrah's sidekick, but since Farrah got the boot, she has been putting in the poison with Austin, and trying to turn him against James. I would think all the above is good enough reason for James picking Janice over Jenna, and also nominating Austin. They have both proved that they are no friends of James, and I can see he is sick of their behaviour and attitudes toward everyone. Also, tbh, he has every right to nominate or save who the hell he wants without keep getting the third degree from those screeching control freaks. |
