I noticed in that episode that when he walked out....again, he spread the dispute around the house to two groups of housemates.

It's more like political campaigning and getting people on your side to him.
Another example is when it was James who brought Janice into it by shouting over to her asking if she agrees with him. Then Janice got started.
So it was hardly a surprise when Austin and Jenna walked into the bedroom that things would get heated because James was already throwing seeds of discontent around before they walked in.

Yes he has issues, it's hard for anyone to have a sibling or other close family member that has died and it clearly affects him but I don't think that can excuse his behaviour towards Chloe and Janice.

I have no idea about his mother and I am very surprised BB broadcast that, Austin agreed to the show his mother didn't and she should not be brought into the show by the backdoor, that type of conversation was always bird tweeted on live feed and should not have been shown even in the context of the nights events.

What I find more disturbing are those on here who think it is ok for a man to say such things about a woman

Makes you wonder what these people are like.

You say that like women are some precious, delicate flowers.

Austin's tirade was foul mouthed and unnecessary regardless of who he said it too.

That's sexist just saying and I'm a girl.

He got caught out, he didn't expect to. Of course Janice was going to agree with him, he saved her. I thought austin's initially reacted very well - James is the one that kept poking wanting to explain himself.

He can be a bit patronising. Him and Bobby are like disapproving teachers talking down to Austin.

When someone takes great pains in telling you what they're like, they're always the opposite of it. James is telling us he's a man of substance.

But what's the point of "I'm muting him" or indeed "I'm fast forwarding through her"? What a load of silly nonsense such claims are.

His mother is in prison for stealing over $600,000 from a previous employer. It was in the newspapers in The States so it's not a secret.

The thing that annoys me is that Austin was on another reality TV show in America called The A List and he was very aggressive on that, even ended up hitting someone. That was a long time before his brother died and before his mother was imprisoned. While I'm sure these events have been absolutely awful for him and very hard to deal with, he was a nightmare before they happened.

And the saddest part of all is, that it is actually working because the viewing public seem to be THIS stupid to fall for it... ”

Walk over the corpses of his friends? Really? ROFL. It was a nomination - just like Jenna nominated him last week and comes over all indignant when the same is done to her.

He nominated Austin for being a nasty, b.........d.

Honesty is all well and good but some people use it as an excuse to be thoroughly unpleasant.

Yes! Good point. He was doing the same a couple of days ago. As we said before, he has been setting Austin up for days now.

But isn't the screaming better? At least it's honest. It's how he feels. Sure it's uncomfortable, unnecessary and at times ugly but I have far more respect for a person who was honest to a fault than someone who sits, watches and manipulates.

That was so transparently fake it became impossible to believe a word he said.

I completely agree. James couldn't get through to Austin that he was showing himself up and also being unacceptably unpleasant to HIM. Jenna and Austin were ghastly to James over the past few days, so he nommed them.

And James feels it's to show Austin that he MEANS IT, he can't just be shouted down and walked over.

And James has balls of steel, he knew he would get awful, shouty fallout, and that many wouldn't like him for it on the outside, hardly 'fake' at all.

As for not shouting and insulting them back but trying to couch it a bit, it's what most of us do, the reasonable ones.

Can't believe some people are falling for it.. Are they thick?! I'm guessing the majority of the support is coming from those who think he's 'good looking' And you can't deny that!! Because as soon as British people think someone is playing a game, they loose support instantly. I do think however, that the way Austin approached to things made it worse for him wheras I believe if he'd handled it properly, he could have looked the better person.

If Austin hadn't acted like an aggressive idiot, and hadn't been awful to James either, there would have been NO problem.

He's got to grow up. I can't understand why so many either accept Austin's childish aggression as 'fine', or always want to blame anybody else bar Austin for it.

He should have listened to James, and he should have kept his cool over Janice.

Ah good, someone that hasn't fallen for the rubbish being spouted here in the usual "let's all turn everyone off the favourite" tactics always used by the sore losers that have already lost their faves, or who know their fave hasn't a hope in hell of winning in the last week. Your last quote shows that you have watched and understood. It was the only way to get Austin to actually listen for once, and from last night's live feed even Austin can see that. When James went to bed in Scoops bed, Austin dragged him back to their bed physically, they seem fine now.

This assumes that James knew his nomination would be made public though. And he didn't look very comfortable watching to me.

Personally, I don't think the nom was tactical or ruthless...as I've just said elsewhere, he's pissed off with Austin and evidently doesn't feel as close to him as Austin would like to believe they are. If James were to be honest and say "look, we're not best friends...you've burned your bridges with me, and I've nommed you because you need to go", I'd respect him a lot more. It's the way that James couches his actions in humanitarian terms that raises red flags about his authenticity.

Also, the second I see someone talk to themselves in the BB house, it's game over as far as my opinion goes. It just screams 'desperate'.
