This thread has GOT to be a joke, right?

You people have GOT to be joking. There's a guy behaving abysmally and yet for some reason, you're denouncing James' behaviour and allowing Austin's behaviour to go unchecked. James has done nothing. Nothing. He's not slagged anyone off or done any of half the things you think you're seeing.

WOW. Just WOW!!!

Personally, I don't think the nom was tactical or ruthless...as I've just said elsewhere, he's pissed off with Austin and evidently doesn't feel as close to him as Austin would like to believe they are. If James were to be honest and say "look, we're not best friends...you've burned your bridges with me, and I've nommed you because you need to go", I'd respect him a lot more. It's the way that James couches his actions in humanitarian terms that raises red flags about his authenticity.

Also, the second I see someone talk to themselves in the BB house, it's game over as far as my opinion goes. It just screams 'desperate'.”

BiB - Exactly. James is trying to spin the situation to his advantage but the fact is he took a gamble with the nomination and the gamble didn't pay off. He gulped as the video came up on the screen.

If there was any truth in his 'noble' reasoning then he could have told Austin himself, before the results were revealed. He didn't, because he thought he'd get away with it and Austin wouldn't find out until after he'd left the house.

You might find that a lot of the people questioning James' motives have also been quite open in criticising Austin too. It's not an either/or. But since this is a thread about James, you're going to find more of the former in here.

I don't like the levels of cynicism on DS, but in this case, I think there's quite a bit of evidence to support it.

Questions had started being raised by some of us about James' posturing before Austin started kicking off. Some of us don't subscribe to binary lines of thought.

A man shouldn't intimidate a woman physically, because men are on average physically bigger and stronger, so have an innate advantage. However, women are just as intelligent as men and so perfectly capable of responding to anything a man says. Your comment is sexist.

Well, you are not alone as I like James too.

I’m pleasantly surprised to return to my brief rant and find that so many people are seeing through him now.

NB: While it’s natural that people are talking about Austin, I didn’t even mention him in my post. I’d think if you cropped the episode down to just James talking and showed it to people who hadn’t seen any of CBB, they’d say he was fake as a £9 note. It's not necessarily about taking Austin's side.

I think Austin is horrible but James is deadlier.

I can't stand listening to James spouting on about how loyal and unselfish he is. According to himself he saved Janice for Chloe and he nominated Austin for Austin's own good. He never does anything unless it's to benefit someone else. Lying bastard.

This re-affirmation from James it a little concerning. Either he thinks the other HM have very short memories, or he still thinks he's playing the groundhog day task

Either way, yes, he is a lying B

Austin's twattery is more honest than James's, James is trying to convince us he's not a total arsehole but a ****ing perfect human being, all delivered with the most irritating whiney little voice known to man

Your last quote shows that you have watched and understood. It was the only way to get Austin to actually listen for once, and from last night's live feed even Austin can see that. When James went to bed in Scoops bed, Austin dragged him back to their bed physically, they seem fine now.”

You are completely wrong here, many of us had James in the top two, so it's not about losing our favourites as you put it! No tactics on our part but plenty on James'. Did you actually watch James on the Apprentice? If you did you would know he has reverted to type. He knows full well that Austin is one of his biggest competition being in the top 4 and he wants rid of him. I hope the voting public keep him in tonight, just to see James reaction!
