Austin would have only been thrown out if one of the other contestants (mainly Janice) had made an official complaint. From looking at tonights spoilers it seems like Janice wants to help him and take him under her wing. So she was never going to do that.

There have been HM's thrown out for less. It was disgusting the way he talked to Janice and BB didn't even give him a warning! Disgusted!

Yes, he did swear but he said so much more. She certainly knows what he thinks about her now that's for sure.”

Yeah, he did unleash every insult he could think of. I doubt Austin was mad enough to say what he did, so I'm guessing that was all part of 'his game'.

Guess that makes them even since Janice didn't get thrown out for spitting at him. Faux or not it was disgusting.

LOL Under Janice's wing? Austin needs to control his temper but I don't think Janice is the person to take anyone under her wing.

I am sick of viewers constantly over -reacting to anything slightly controversial shown. No wonder the show has to be edited if people are going to complain and whinge non stop. It's sickening! It is reality TV, Austin was being real in my opinion - like it or not.

HMs are warned and even thrown out when being real. Why should Austin be a special case whose "reality" makes him immune?

You may be right about the lack of an official complaint in this case, but that's not how it should work. Conor was warned, and Ofcom thought the warning inadequate, despite no HM making an official complaint. Deana didn't even know what he'd said.

Oh that was ridiculously over blown, Conor was a thick lad who was talking big in a way that he ( stupidly) thought was funny and clever. He wasn't making a threat.
Just too stupid that people accused him of threatening serious sexual assault.
I can't believe he was even formally warned

Agree, he was verbally abusive and made himself look like an out of control fool.

Why do we expect him to be removed

I could see BB telling him to watch his language and temper, but I don't think it even warrants a proper warning.

Austin followed her into the bedroom after insulting her, was that ok too! Janice didn't spit on him although he claimed she did the camera's showed otherwise, Janice said she made a spitting gesture towards him. Austin has targeted Janice from the very start and she got a final warning but apparently Austin is immune from getting any warning at all!

Other HM's have been removed for far less!

Janice was warned by big brother. She has not repeated it. Austin didn't get any warnings.

Conor wasn't formally warned, at least not in what was shown to viewers: that's why C5 was in trouble with Ofcom.

Rubbish, and ofcom got involved because hysterical lonely divorcees, sat in their grubby nighties, started writing big long emails rabbiting on about rape.

He should be glad if he goes tomorrow so he can sort himself out.

I notice he is more worried about not reaching the final.”

He did take responsibility. He apologised

It's not rubbish at all. Ofcom's decision in that case explicitly indicated that the warning had been inadequate.

My point wasn't about why Ofcom got involved; it was about why Ofcom had found against C5/BB.

Sure, Ofcom can get involved because of viewer complaints, but the great majority of the time Ofcom decides in BB's favour. When Ofcom decides against BB, it's on the merits of the case, and it doesn't matter how "grubby" or not the people who complained are.

BTW, there were plenty of people in this forum who complained. Are they included in your insulting comments about the complainers?

An apology doesn't have to involve taking responsibility, and he certainly didn't seem to be taking any responsibility in the DR session we saw last night.

If housemates aren't allowed to be angry/temporarily out of control, (as we all are occasionaly in our own lives) without being thrown out of the house, whats the point in the show anymore? It's different if its a sustained unproked campaign of bullying, this is not the case here.

But Austin did say Janice should be slapped as well as his foul mouthed outburst. Unacceptable in my view.

Its not do long ago that Austin said he was not proud to be American - so what's happened since then - all but 2 Americans have been evicted .

Call me cynical but Imo he figured that Jenna and himself would go tonight so he decided to create the drama over the last two days.

I only hope I am wrong because anyone who talks about his brother and mother just to avoid getting evicted is wrong ,wrong wrong.

After all there is no prize for winning cbb is there .

I'm very cynical too and agree with your post.

He said she did and I thought she did. But in any case as I said faux or not it was disgusting.

You are welcome to believe whatever Janice says but I don't. For one thing she doesn't remember what she said or what was said to her. She said she didn't want her letter because she felt bad for Austin. But clearly she did. Other hm's were not being paid a rather large fee. (Dennis was not paid a fee) They were NEVER going to just get rid of her. Tila was nobody and probably had the smallest fee. Janice was one of the anchor stars.

In any case pretending to spit at someone and actually doing it doesn't make it better for me.

I see you're posting from Australia. Did you emigrate from Tunbridge Wells?
