Actually as the OP i can assure you this thread is about Austin's personal pain and how much he moved me.

I'd forgotten about that argument. Austin explaining he had to move to the UK to marry his husband but Janice still telling him he doesn't know as much about Gay rights as her!!

Janice is hard work and I agree with posters here (and Bobby D) who say she will drop Chloe Jasmin like a hot brick when she's done but the venom that has been directed at her the last few days by Austin has made for uncomfortable viewing.

Honestly thought he was one step away from a breakdown last night.

He has issues he needs addressing but he chose to do a show that will drive people crazy. It didn't move me because I've just gone beyond any sympathy due to the fact he's behaved horribly throughout yet only now is he using his personal struggles

I found it rather sad last night what with Austin...I am a James fan but like Austin as well.

Never have I seen such a complex, angry & unforgiving HM. The way he spoke to Janice was disgusting but there is a part of me that feels some sympathy for him.
He is like a different man that entered CBB & I think he's obviously finding the pressure of the House way too difficult to deal with, he, being a stickler for rules is getting beyond frustrated with Janice. He feels (rightly so, imo) badly let down by James.
He still seems, understandably very angry & sad at the loss of his brother & I'm not sure if I heard correctly but did he not say his Mother was jailed only a week before entering the House.
He seems to be dealing with an awful lot & what worse place to try and get your head straight & remain calm than in the Big Brother House.

Yes, and you all should remember that this is the guy who'd been yapping and nipping at Farrah since he walked in the door. Kind of puts a different light on things.

I don't buy that argument for one minute. It depends on which housemate we're talking about; apparently. It's in the public domain and speaks very much to his character. The suggestion that his behaviour is nearly criminal was brought up, which struck me as ironic when his recent conflict has been with an ACTUAL criminal.
