Is Sherrie older than Janice? I ask because I think Jamice has a touch of the Chloe getting through life by getting people to protect her.

Indeed. I found the use of motherhood as a weapon against 2 women in quick succession much more hateful.
Agreed. But clearly he has mother issues

I tend to agree with this. I loathe the view that poor defenseless, ickle women deserve to be protected from profanity and vulgarity.

It's a crock of out dated shite to be frank.
Manners are not an outdated crock of shite but this eighties attitude is.
It is nothing to do with "defenceless, ickle? women it's to do with common courtesy. Cursing at a woman just shows someone up for the ill mannered fool they are.

I really don't understand this sexist double standard that men aren't allowed to be rude to a woman.

We should be living in society where gender and sexuality don't matter. That means that you have to be fair and equal and if part of social life is having arguments, then that's the same too.

I don't condone rude or mean behaviour but it's bad or good irrespective of the gender of the person who is either giving it or receiving it.

If you think Austin was horrid to use the C word, then that' perfectly reasonable. But if you think it was worse to use it to a woman than a man then that is sexist. It is also heteronormative as it is imposing social norms of a heterosexual culture dependant on male/female deference and sexual interaction on people who are not part of it.

That is the problem right there.

If you said "Cursing at a person just shows someone up for the ill mannered fool they are."

I would agree with you. But why bring the gender into it unless you are applying gender differentials on behaviour. Which is the very definition of sexism.

If Austin was a rude git, which he was, then the gender of the person he spoke to isn't relevant unless you think it's 1895.

the blatant use of the c word against an elderly woman made for uncomfortable viewing, but austin has been misogynistic from the start ever since he attacked Farrah for no reason upon entering the house. he needs to attack some of the slimy males such as James and Bobby, Janice and Farrah were actually quite independent women who were ultimately detached from the going ones of the house so its strange they provoked such ill-feelings in him. also, why the **** does Jenna constantly get out of jail free card?
Someone else who has no idea what the word misogynist means. Nowadays it seems to mean anyone who disagrees or argues with one woman.
