We all know that I have been on James side and agreed with his nomination for Austin for his terrible behaviour.
But is it odd I don't want him to go?

The Austin and James I saw on tonights feed is the Austin and James that a couple of weeks ago I wanted Top 2. Check my history, Austin was in my T2 2 weeks back. What they were like on the feed was great to watch.

Is it because if he stays James' duplicitousness will be forgotten, perchance?

Tbh, that is a small reason too. I do feel James regrets his decision but doesn't want to say. And if Austin goes tomorrow, James will feel gutted.

I watched LF tonight and really enjoyed it. I like both of them when they're like that.

I don't think James will be gutted. I don't think he'll feel much of anything other than 'Another one down, five more to go'.

Austin has given alot of himself to the show and for that reason I would like him to make the final. I think he is a good person but he lashes out in anger because he is in so much pain.

I agree. I want Austin to stay. I want to see the shifty eyed back track of a man who thought he'd knocked out his competition.
I'd gone all warm and fuzzy after watching LF but you've just woken me up and knocked me back into shape. . James couldn't have changed his mind that quickly. Telling Austin that he'd only take the tip. ![]()

FFS, He nominated him for a VALID reason. If your friend had behaved the way Austin did and called your Mum, sister or daughter those things, would you let it lie? I'd like to see if someone called those people a c*** in your presence, you wouldn't like it? James nominated Austin on his behaviour. You do know you can nom someone but like them. As someone who has watched for 15 years, it has happened a lot. |

It's always someone elses fault, I don't want him to go but...
He goes mad at Chloe. Doesn't matter because she's weak He goes mad at Stevie. Doesn't matter because he doesn't defend his gf He goes mad at everyone else. Doesn't matter because he's had a bad life. He needs to take responsibility for his actions. He always masks his aggressive tendencies with blaming someone or something else. |

I normally hate the way people bandy about the term 'real' but if anyone's lives up to that term this series it's Austin. He's been entirely present, warts and all, from Day 1. I honestly think his behaviour these last few days has been because of the gradual, sinking feeling gnawing away that barely any of these people are as they present themselves. With regards to James specifically he feels humiliated and very publicly so - a kind of 'how could I have been such a fool?' moment that has hit him hard in the stomach. Janice is just the biggest and most easily identified of the constructed personas in there, so she bears the brunt of his frustration, even though it's really probably about James. |

I am perplexed at the hate for Austin. He did not receive his letter due to Janice's attention seeking action, he was right to be annoyed and she gets her letter, she is a bore. Austin is a great guy. One thing I notice is Jenna and Austin can spot a Bull sh**ter.

It doesn't make the way he spoke to Janice right, but given that Janice has said just as bad about others whilst in there I'm sorry if my tiny violin is staying in it''s tiny little case for now. |

Honestly, it seems to me he just has a go at people who spout BS. Chloe and Stevie are a union of BS as we all know. Janice is Little Miss BS, with her deliberate 'confused' sabotage, and now he's had a go at James because he now smells BS on him. I think he has major trust issues so if he perceives someone betraying him who he allowed in a little it opens up a whole world of hurt and he explodes - he's unable to just shrug off BS like most us learn to do at some point. *BUT* he hasn't had a go at Sherrie. He hasn't really had a go at Natasha before tonight. He's never really had a go at Bobby that I can remember.
It doesn't make the way he spoke to Janice right, but given that Janice has said just as bad about others whilst in there I'm sorry if my tiny violin is staying in it''s tiny little case for now. There's no need to go on at them. |

And in my world you don't nominate your mate to leave a contest over some woman who barks things like '**** you ****head' (remember that one?) because shes 'old' and 'vulnerable' and 'deserves respect'. Its utter bull crap.she is rude, vulgar and manipulative....and dont even get me started on the letter...:÷ |

He did have a few rows with Bobby, starting with when he told him to F off. I get how sickening Clovie could get, but Chloe is harmless (I don't like her), but she's harmless, and I don't understand why he has a dislike of her. He then rows with Stevie, Steve says "what have I done to you?", Austin says "Nothing that's the reason".
There's no need to go on at them. I don't think an intolerance of BS is a bad thing in itself at all, in fact I rather admire it because it's such a toxic thing to be around. What is clearly flawed is his delivery, but I'd still tolerate that in a person more than someone who says one thing and does another. |

It won't happen, because sadly James will walk this and Austin will in all likelihood be evicted tomorrow, but I would *love* Austin to finish above James.

A lot of the crowd on Twitter seemed to have forgotten about everything and want them to be Top 2.

I'd like him to stay.
I always try to consider what a person might have going on in their personal life, but I don't like to use it as an excuse for bad behavior. It may be a reason but never an excuse. I think what Austin said to Janis tonight was shocking, he was totally wrong. However, his "breakdown" in the DR and then re-entry to the house did soften my opinion and I felt it was probably genuine. He went nuts, made a mess of everything, saw his errors, and then it all crashed down around him when he realized how awful he was. So, because of this I give him a bit of slack where I gave Farrah zero. Never once did I get the feeling Farrah gave a shit about anything she did and was so up her own arse that she really didn't have any regret when she hurled abuse at others. It all comes down to believability and I believed Austin - but not her. Not even for a second. He did make a fool of himself though, and I shudder to think what it will feel like if they play that back when he's evicted. |

I've been a big Austin fan from the start, but after what he said to Janice last night, he's lost my respect and admiration. I'm no Janice fan by any means, but the aggressive way he talked to her and about her in the diary room - the language he used - was unacceptable. I think he should have been removed from the house, and I cannot believe that he didn't at least get a warning from BB.

Nothing wrong with it all. He has given all of himself to this show, warts and all.
