The issue is she made such a song a dance in front of the rest of the house about not reading it, then went away and secret and did it. Do the rest of the house know she did?
As for giving respect to your elders, I hate that notion. I give respect to people who give respect to me, no matter their age. Janice has been pretty disrespectful in the house on many occasions. Austin has no issue with showing respect to Sherrie, as she shows him respect.

Excellent post ....absolutely agree.....I wonder if they'll show her reading it to the others ??...Maybe there'll be a task for Austin to retrieve his letter.....hasn't that happened in the past.....Could be a little late though if he goes tonight - which hopefully he will !

I can't believe how much older she looks now. She is so ott in that clip and she's jumping about like a teenager, yet in BB she's appears to have difficulty walking and her posture, especially for an ex model, is terrible.
I'm pretty sure someone on here has mentioned she's trying to emulate Gary Busey, I think they may well be right and this doddery old lady routine is one big act.

I think you're right, as I say above and after watching that clip ... yep and she is playing it well. Plus she got a final warning early on for spitting in Austins direction so has to be careful what she says and does, she just pushes the buttons and watches the explosions.
They should all be manipulating, it's a competition, but you can't be a master manipulator if you get caught out. That is careless.
The real masters are the ones who don't make it obvious. I think Sherie is cleverer, but her nominating Bobby was a sloppy error, she obviously thinks he is competition, and what a pathetic excuse.

Personally I think she does it all for screen time. Whatever is going on she makes sure shes there. She always meant to get that letter else she would have thrown it in the lava like she did Austins. Whilst I don't agree with how Austin treats her I think she would be a nightmare to live with and I do think shes kind of goading them

I loved the whole 'I just want to do the right thing, BB' act she put on in the DR, while humbly lowering her eyes, knowing exactly what the outcome was going to be. And then racing through the letter (I was waiting for her to say '...proud of you blah blah blah etc') and not even bothering to pretend to be grateful or remotely moved by it! Still my winner.

Yep totally agree. She is playing the game. I have never understood why being older than someone else deserves more respect. Surely respect is something earned rather than it being something demanded according to age.

haha yeah...she's so entertaining...
I think that is one of the reasons Austin gets so angry at her because he can see she is playing everyone including the audience and getting away with it. I also think she probably wrote the letter herself cos it sounded so fake. She is an expert on reality tv, people should remember that, not the poor abused older women.

Whether she wrote it herself I don't know but it wasn't the first time she read that letter, not with the way she was looking up into camera finishing the lines.
We didn't actually see Chloe go to the garbage to get it. We just see Janice in the DR with the letter in her hand. With all the cameras in there why didn't BB show us Chloe retrieving the letter? When was it done? That envelope didn't look that soiled to have spent much time in the bin.
Editing on this show when it comes to Janice is outrageous.

If she is doing it all for screen time, and I'm inclined to agree with you that she is cos there's just so much evidence now, it makes me more charitable towards her rather than less.
I'm not sure why though....why I tolerate it in her more than the less ostentatious gameplayers like James or Stevi. I think maybe it's because she's blatantly treating it like a job, and her job is to be Janice Dickensen, Drama Queen. Or maybe it's because she's a 'broad', and I like her chutzpah and eccentricity.

Also when Janice put the letter in the bin she seemed to put it in fairly deeply so I wonder if Janice herself retrieved the letter or why would Chloe be bin raking ?

He's also not had any issue with Natasha until after the nominations were revealed, which is why he was surprised at her nomination. He's always got on well with her. I find it strange that some say he only has an issue with women, when he has also had arguments or disagreements with James, Bobby and Stevi.
