How often do you watch the odd episode of another soap?
The title says it all but how often, or which episodes have you seen of a soap which you don't usually watch? I know a few people who had watched EastEnders' live week due to the amount of publicity (and some have even carried on watching it). I usually only watch EastEnders but I did see an episode or two of Corrie's fire during Britain's Got Talent's semi finals.
I may dip into Corrie this Wednesday for its live episode just to see the acting and how things plan out (oh and also to spy on if anyone messes up )

Not very often usually if I see some big disaster or something advertised and there is nothing else on I want to watch, I might tune in or watch online.
The last time I did this with Emmerdale was the helicopter crash this summer but I only watched the actual crash episode and not before or after. Although Ive only ever done this with Emmerdale, like their live episode or when they had the armed siege at the pub. I cant remember ever tuning into Hollyoaks, Doctors or an Aussie Soap. I'm a regular EE and Corrie watcher BTW

I only watch EastEnders, but will catch up on Corrie or Emmerdale if there's something big happening. Despite not watching the other soaps, I do follow what goes on in them, and am considering watching tomorrow's Corrie. I'm not expecting it to be good though.

Not often, usually it's for the big hyped up or disaster episodes.
I watched Emmerdale for the helicopter crash week, then tuned out again.

Almost never. The only times I watch anything except Eastenders is when someone else is watching Emmerdale and I can't be bothered doing anything else.

Never.
Stopped watching EE when Max was having his jollies with Stacey up against the public toilet wall. Made me want to throw up. Never watched any of the others. |

Never these days.
Watch Corrie & Emmerdale religiously. Used to watch EE but came to despise it - just have to suffer it now if I'm visiting my parents and can't escape away from the tv. |

Watched EE on New Year's Day and live week. Doubt I'll watch again anytime soon. I watch ED and CS religiously.

I watched some of EE live week and did consider going back to watching it regularly. But as soon as I knew Kathy was coming back I very quickly decided not to.

I watch EastEnders regularly. If I see an interesting storyline advertised for another soap I may follow just that storyline but will drop it if I get bored with it.

I watch EastEnders every week. I'd say I watch Corrie on average once a week, sometimes more if something big is happening. I occasionally drop in on Hollyoaks, but I haven't watched it properly since about 2009.
I have never watched Emmerdale. |

I watched Hollyoaks religiously from day one until last year when I gave up. It was just so disappointing. Now I check in once every few weeks and still manage to grasp everything going on. I don't regret giving it up. I hope one day I can go back and feel it deserves my time.

My main soap is Coronation Street which I watch every episode.
I sometimes watch EastEnders if something catches my eye and always read up on what happens. If something interests me I will watch it on BBC Iplayer to see it for myself. The last time I properly watched was the flashback episode concerning Lucy's death. |

I usually watch Hollyaoks when I'm bored and nothing else is on but since its on Hulu I don't skip any episodes, I'm just really behind, I think I'm at the beginning of August now.. Also if I'm off work and have nothing to do I might turn on Days of Our Lives if nothing better is on.

I religiously watch Eastenders, the aussie soaps and Hollyoaks.
I dip into Emmerdale and Corrie when there's a big storyline. I would like to get back into Emmerdale regularly but it's too many soaps. |

You should trade out Neighbours for Emmerdale. Emmerdale is a million times better than Neighbours.....hell I gave up Neighbours and went back to Hollyoaks when I realized even with all its flaws its still miles ahead of Neighbours.

I always watch Hollyoaks and Eastenders. I last watched Emmerdale for the episode of the helicopter crash.
Never really watch Corrie but it seems every time I accidentally leave it on, Gail is getting married lol. |
