Should the soaps pair up to create a Spinoff with Robert Sugden +Ben Mitchell?
Two of my favourite male characters and soap actors for a variety of reasons -Emmerdales Robert Sugden and Eastenders Ben Mitchell aka Ryan Hawley and Harry Reid.
Should soap bosses as a one off pair these two characters from different shows up in a Spinoff show of short duration? I think it could be very enjoyable and interesting. I think the characters have some interesting similarities and differences and frankly would be suited to a brief romance. Thoughts? |

Intresting concept, it would answer the question of wether all the soaps exist in the same fictional reality. I dont watch Emmerdale so I dont know if the specific example would work or not.
On a slightly different note didnt Dot say she was going to go watch Corrie when it was the 50th anniversary.

I think Mick Carter meeting Gary Windass from Corrie would be a great idea, for similar reasons

I don't watch East Enders, but I like the idea, just switch out the East Enders character for someone on Corrie and you've got my vote!

Once Diablo had taken Hilda's soul in exchange for granting him the object of his lust he settled down with some tissues in feverish anticipation.
Alas once again Diablo had plucked the strings of mortal man's folly but Hilda realised too late. He looked on in horror as the original posh Ben and Robert trotted onto his screen, Ben yelping about Lady Gaga and brandishing a spanner... |

No thanks. Ryan deserves better than some plank of wood called Ben. Although a solo attitude magazine article would be nice. But Ryan is quite private though and doesn't seem the type to do that.
