As per the title, what sort of mouse works best with an Android tablet ?(Hudl2).

Am I best going for Bluetooth, Wireless , or hard wired?

Any recommendations appreciated

Wireless or hard wired would require a USB OTG cable. I've used both on my kids Hudl 2s.

Bluetooth is likely to be the most convenient.

Yes perfectly serious, if you don't know the answer then just say so

why would you want to use a mouse with a tablet?

If you are going to be using your tablet for doing some actual work and use office applications such as Word and Excel - rather than just watching videos or playing games - then it can be useful to connect it to an external monitor and have a proper keyboard and mouse.

I've got a cheap generic Bluetooth mouse (about £15 I think) and it works well on both my laptop and tablet (though not both at the same time...)

ok, that sounds reasonable. Sorry I wasnt questioning why you wanted to, although it may have come across like that. I was genuinely interested in knowing why.

I have a desktop, so if I was going to do serious work I would use the desktop rather than the tablet. Which is why your scenario didnt occur to me.

I would like to know this too.

I wasn't aware normal bluetooth mouses (mice) could work. Some of the larger tablets, like the Xperia Z4 tablet, come with a cool keyboard accessory so it would be good for productivity when matched with the keyboard.

Sounds like the surface tablet/laptops that microsoft offer.

So it sounds like you want to use a tablet as a PC.
