From the beginning Rylan was waxing lyrically about the 'cat fight' potential of tonight's panel. He kept alluding to it as if encouraging something to happen & then asked a loaded question that had nothing to do with tonight's eviction "were you sad to see Farrah evicted the other day"... which was basically a barely disguised prompt for Aisleyne & the other woman to slag Farrah off to start a row.
It was SOOOOO contrived!!!

They clearly booked the God awful Aisleyne, Nicola McLean's BFF with the intention of fighting with Farrah.
Aisleyne tweeted the other night after the Farrah & Nicola dust up that she want's to throw champagne at Farrah which she ended up doing tonight, yet they still booked her anyway -

ALLO Allo star Vicki Michelle was rushed to hospital last night after a massive brawl erupted during a live recording on Celebrity Big Brother.

The actress and former I’m A Celebrity contestant is believed to have been hit by flying glass after a fight broke out on the celebrity panel of the Channel 5 show at 11pm last night.

Show contestants were Americans Farah Abraham, Jenna Jameson, Janice Dickinson and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace.

Vicki is believed to have been caught in the cross fire when champagne glasses and a chair were thrown.

A CBB source revealed: “It was absolute chaos. Glasses and then a chair went flying and Vicki ended up injured in the process.

“Everyone was screaming and sobbing, and it was very shocking.

“Vicki, who hadn’t caused anything herself, was caught in the crossfire and ended up being glassed.”

Celebrity Big Brother Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark, who was hosting the segment, is said to have been left shaken.

The show was on a time delay and bosses cut the brawl.

A clearly shaken Rylan returned without the panel and told viewers:

“Hi guys, unfortunately we did have to pop that up there due to a matter that happened unfortunately we have lost our panel for the evening.”

The show ended 12-minutes before its scheduled time.

Last night a spokesman for Channel 5 said: “Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side was interrupted this evening due to an incident on the set.”


What I've pointed out in my OP will be enough for the likes of the Daily Mail to crucify it as human bear baiting!

Exactly. Ch5 are completely culpable. This programme has had its day. It is so unpleasant. They were spoiling for a fight and got more than they bargined for.

Most of us have been saying for several years that they wouldn't be happy until a mass brawl broke out and someone got hurt

And now both scenarios have happened and SOTS's future now looking very precarious and they've only got themselves to blame

Rylan's agent is probably contacting the I'm A Celeb people at the moment to see if they want his client as a constestant on the next series

If it was half as serious as that I doubt they would go back to Rylan on air asking the audience stupid questions to be honest.

Not just the Daily Mail either. I'll say it. The show is like human bear baiting.

Whether BOTS is cancelled or not I think Ofcom will have something to say about this.
Every TV show has to adhere to broadcasting standards of taste and decency. If a show doesn't meet the requirement they can expect to be in trouble. Which this show certainly didn't last night.

If your show has to be cut by 12 minutes because you're incapable of producing a television show properly, then that's very bad news for the show.
Even when people walk out of television interviews in anger the TV show starts sweating a bit because they look unprofessional. But what happened on BOTS last night is really something else.
Especially when people are at risk and end up in a position where they could potentially sue the show.

I know. And now that it has happened people can see the reality of the situation when it actually does happen, and it doesn't seem as appealing as people imagined it would. In fact it shows that the reality can be very ugly.

Time for BOTS to be scrapped, and full time 24/7 live feed be brought back.

I hope BOTS gets axed permanently, it's such a trash show. It makes the main show look like Downton Abbey.

agree - Rylan doesn't chose the panel he is a presenter who is given a script - he had obviously seen what has happened and must have been told "ad lib" he carried the rest of the show very well ( wonder if Emma would have coped the same )

she went too far and because of her throwing her glass/champagne at Farrah, she ruined tonight's BBOTS, all Farrah was doing was answering Rylan's questions, so what if she called her a hag, if you can't take it, then your a bigger fool to start throwing drinks at people and not expecting a reaction back.

I doubt that everything has been exaggerated because Vicki Michelle has tweeted that she's been given the all clear and is okay now.

Rushed to hospital, critical, seems like a massive overexaggeration to me. She probably got hit on her arm by a chair and was checked over by the medical team in the studio. It's the Sun, it's what they do.

its still more injury than what happened on fight night, yes the sun have overacted though...

Watching it back some of the audience seem very unphased to me. They might be the "seen it all, we're on speed dial" recurring bunch.

Of course he was acting under orders, him and Emma always are. It's either that or get fired.

Firstly, I sincerely doubt that Vickie Michelle was rushed to hospital - that reeks of media bull.

As for BB, this was inevitable. Channel 5 are so pathetic, it's really staggering. They want constant drama at the expense of everything else, yet when it goes too far they have no idea how to handle it. I know the show's been moving this way for a while now (arguably as far back as BB5), but it's just so blatant since it moved to Channel 5. Big Brother, the show that started in 2000, doesn't exist anymore. Everything is manipulated and stirred by the producers to the point where it's practically scripted, and that's not what the show was about.

Channel 5 five took on an enormously successful franchise ... and turned it into a trailer-trash freak show

Out went the old ( winning ) formula, and in came a nasty, spitefully provocative, constantly goading, parody

They pushed and pushed ... and tonight was the inevitable, and degrading, downfall
