So Janice's agent confirmed she threw a chair.

I'm not fond of Farrah but all the assumers that said it was her should eat their words now.

I do agree with you that Farrah was this year's sacrificial goat and I do think she was set up as someone to point and tut tu at.t. I also think it is very possible she and her agent were complicit in that narrative and she was booked knowing that she was being cast as the villain.

She did look happy but her happy place could equally be construed as triumphant and defiant. She was asked if she had watched any of the show back and what she thought of her activity in the house. She said she had and she was proud of everything she had done and had stood up for herself. That sets a tone don't you think?

A smarter person would have expressed a modicum of humility or made a joke about their bad behaviour. She didn't need to prostrate herself before the public and beg forgiveness. All she needed to do was acknowledge she looked bad at times. That would have won a lot of people over.

But then again if that isn't in the script what is the girl to do?

as the saying goes Farrah would 'make a saint swear', she exudes provocation, if Aislyn 'threw the first punch', not saying it was the right thing to do but .......

I'm more concerned about whether Janice pulled a muscle or two whilst hoisting the chair above her head !

Farrah did point out to Emma in her eviction interview that she never once resorted to physicality or violence when arguing with housemates. It was always only verbal jousting with her.

Exactly right. There's no doubt that Aisleyne was more aggressive than Farrah and disgraced herself, but we can't pretend that Farrah was behaving like a saint last night just because she was smiling serenely and not frothing at the mouth. When the other guests were asked for an opinion, both started to comment in a reasonable if critical way, and Farrah's response was to turn her body away from them, talk over them and spout the same narcissistic drivel that she did in the house. 'Defiant' is the right word, and maybe she had every right to be when complete strangers are criticising her, it can't have been nice, but she did volunteer herself for a popularity contest where you kind of have to 'take your lumps' afterwards, and like you, I think a bit of humility or humour would have helped her cause no end.

To repeat, this is not me blaming Farrah for Aisleyne's lack of control, I didn't mind Farrah by the end, but she's delusional if she thinks she bore NO responsibility for her own behaviour in the house.

From the footage it looks like Aisleyne PROBABLY didn't throw just the glass, and POSSIBLE she got up out of her seat to physically attack Farrah???
I'd like to see the footage you saw , for you to make such deductions of what followed.
All I saw was Aisleyne pick up her glass......we have no idea if the contents was thrown or the glass itself. As for her getting out of her chair to attack Farrah....is it possible, yes.......but then it's possible Eammon Holmes rushed in, and hit Farrah over the head with a chair........we don't know what happened, and probably never will.
I can't abide Farrah, but I'm not going to sit here and type it was possible she threw the glass or chair, because we don't know who did what.

Exactly this, people are quick to blame Aislyne because Helen Wood is stirring the pot on Twitter because she hates Aisleyne, I would rather wait and hear the real version personally and not just surmise!

It doesn't matter to me one jot who threw what and in what order. Small children in nursery are forbidden to throw stuff at each other. They aren't given television time, money and the opportunity to wear tatty rags that barely cover their bits...........let's call time on this show.

Quite right.
But almost by definition I don't think that is how you do a witch hunt.

This is apparently what happened, Janice tried to block Farrah with a chair, there was no flinging involved, and it was Farrah and Jenna that were forcibly removed from the studio, not the others.

It's an interesting theory but this is almost certainly career suicide by Aisleyne (if you can call what she has a "career"). BB can never invite her back on any of their shows again after an incident like this : if they did, they would be seen as condoning violence.

I don't know who Ghetto Girl is.

But I wouldn't lay the blame at Rylan's door. As presenter he is only the organ grinder's monkey. He will have very little say over what is asked or presented and no input at all into the composition of the panel. All he has any agency over is how the questions are asked, body language, tone of voice, framing etc. I think in that respect he has handled the trickier panellists pretty well.

Blame the production team decision makers but Rylan really couldn't be held responsible for that.

It's interesting that you see a bit of champagne trickling down someone's face as violence, yet don't mention Farrah's ACTUAL violence of throwing a glass and injuring Vicki Michelle ?

Shouting at Farrah repeatedly "Get on the plane and f*** off home" was hugely questionable and should have resulted in her immediate removal from the panel. It was no more than vile personal abuse and very provocative.

Exactly, you could see he was very nervous about directing questions to Aisleyne, I can well imagine that he had one of those idiot producers in his ear commanding him to ask Aisleyne that question, he was really squirming when he asked her.
