It was enough to injure someone so they needed medical treatment, that makes it more serious than just throwing wine at someone, which was the point I was making.
Vicki might have fallen on some of the glass after being pushed over in a scuffle or was accidently thwacked by Janice and her chair and fell onto it..or maybe she was trying to hold someone back who had picked up a broken glass and got hurt in the process..or maybe other glasses were thrown by other people... ..or she might simply have put her hand/foot etc on a piece of broken glass after the event and got a nasty cut. We really have no idea how the injury happened. We have reports saying Aisleyne was to blame/started it (from someone who was there), reports saying Farrah was to blame (from someone who says they were there), reports saying Farrah threw a glass, reports saying glasses were thrown (so Farrah might not have been the only glass thrower), reports saying Janice went chair crazy..and a report saying Aisleyne caused Vicki's injury (albeit coming from Aisleyne's arch enemy Helen Wood). I'm sure they'll all have their own versions of the truth based on their own personal biases. It would be interesting if we could see the full video so we'd have the full picture..but I'm doubtful that will ever happen. |

"she just chucked the wine at her!...oh so thats alright then, why just because its wine and not a glass, is that excused?..and thn "farrah went berserk"... so would i, if someone told me to **** off back home, then chucked wine on me!

But that's why throwing a solid object is more serious, because it can cause serious injury. We know Farrah chucked a glass, so going on what we know, what she did was more serious than what Aisleyne did.

we don't know if it was the glass or its contents. I believe it was the glass as Farrah was too far away to get the contents that far. Vicky was in the middle that's why she got hit.
We do not know this. The only thing we know is ghetto girl got up and threw something in Farrah's direction. Going on what I saw, ghetto girl should have been arrested.

Aisleyne was aggressive & confrontational from the start screaming "f*ck off home" amongst other things to Farrah, then threw a drink/glass at her... Imagine if you were Farrah & someone you didn't know did this to you. You would ether start crying or get angry & defend yourself... and we all know going by Farrah's temperament which one it will be for her... and so did the producers, that's why they put Aisleyne on with her and prodded the situation with a stick until it exploded ![]() The producers booked Aisleyne for the very reason to cause a fight. Rylan was even bragging about how volatile the situation was from the start. Rylan - There are 3 ladies waiting to get their teeth into tonight's action & possibly eachother... we're just hoping there's going to be no rows tonight (he says sarcastically) Rylan - She's a glamor puss who's always ready to roar and I think she's got her claws out, give it up for Aisleyne Rylan - I'm dreading these words coming out of my mouth, Aisleyne do you miss Farrah being in the house It was human bear baiting at it's most sickeningly obvious! Farrah is not the villain here. BOTS themselves orchestrated what happened and the dumb thug Aisleyne was the willing protagonist

I've always been a strong believer that if you throw the first punch (as it appears Aisleyne did by throwing the wine) you are largely responsible for what happens next (that's not to say you'll deserve what happens next...but you will be responsible for creating the situation). |

More serious yes..but you also have to say her wrongdoing was a kneejerk reaction of anger in response to a pre-meditated assault by Aisleyne. A kneejerk reaction of anger to an attack on your person...is clearly always going to be more ill thought out/dangerous than a pre-planned attack.

If someone punched me, I'd agree, punching them back is defending yourself. If someone threw wine at me, my first reaction wouldn't be to throw a solid object at them, it just wouldn't. I don't agree you are largely responsible for what happens next if you provoke someone, that's ridiculous and no court would take this argument seriously. They may consider provocation, but the response has to be considered, and where do you draw the line with your argument anyway? There would be no line and you'd have people trying to justify terrible actions on little provocations. |

If you get aggressive with someone then don't cry if it escalates. If you throw the first punch then all bets are off.. I'm knocking your teeth out with a snooker cue

Farrah started off the show in a jolly mood talking about what a nice time she was having in London & how nice everyone was being to her.

Seems a lot of people here are just blindly defending a housemate they like, regardless of what they have done. |

And since in this instance, we aren't even talking about a punch, but wine in the face, they'd be even less favourable. It's still assault, but it's not as serious as someone coming up to you and punching you. |

Janice was apparently fending Farrah off with the chair trying to stop her reaching Aisleyne, before Farrah and Jenna were forcibly removed from the studios by security.

I think it's just the contemporary way to say "common".
[Aside: I do miss the word 'common', it has a quaint old-fashioned quality to it that somehow makes the inherant snootiness in its use amusing rather than obnoxious] |
